The Xbox is fine. What was completely unusual was the delivery. It came in a box 10 times too big and was packaged with one small piece of bubble wrap. In other words, it had ample room to bounce around inside the box during shipping. Further, the packaging tape was loose and I could see inside the box through the seams when it arrived. It was practically open when it arrived. Here’s the best part... there was an open and empty airplane sized bottle of vodka inside the box. That’s right... vodka. I wish I was kidding, but this is the complete truth. I wrote to BestBuy about it and got no response. Hopefully someone reads this response, but I doubt it. Again, the Xbox is fine.

I just don't understand why you buy game disk, yet they have to download onto the system and they take so long to download. Why can't the system just load the game like older systems in the past? Additionally, having to pay to play online is different.

Unfortunately, optical disc drives can’t read data quickly enough to keep up with modern games, so you get the best experience when you install the game from a disc on your Xbox One console. We hope this better gaming experience makes up for any delays in installation.
