Already had a xbox one but wanted the 4k player and the latest tech.

I love my new Xbox One S. I'm not a frequent gamer, so I'm fine with the 500GB console. I wanted it mainly to play GTA and for the UHD Blu-Ray player. I was very impressed with the results. The HDR makes the colors pop so brightly, it's breathtaking. Definitley a big advantage over the PS4 Pro. Though there is also a big disadvantage in the lack of VR.

I finally decided to upgrade my 360. I like that some games are backwards compatible but they still need to expand their selection. another negative is how long it takes to download a game. it can take 12 hours. I liked it better on 360 where you could just play and not download other than the negatives it's still a great console and much better than any PlayStation

I have owned every PS4, was very hesitant to switch to the Xbox One S. But I really wanted to play Forza Horizon 3. The Xbox one S is one of the best purchases I have made. The 4k streaming is amazing on the 4k TV.

The Xbox one s is really clean looking and its light and the new controller it comes with has a little grip on it that really feels good in my hands.

But I am a playstation fan for life. My son really wanted this for Halo so I caved and bought it and the black Friday pricing was a great deal.

Was looking for a 4K blu-ray player, but for the same price this was the MUCH bettter option. Plays 4k blu-rays perfect, plus you can play games or rent movies from the Xbox store. Even if you're not a big gamer, great value.

Bought this along with a new Samsung 4k TV and have not had any issues.

Love the quality and quantity of apps and games on this system

For the price of this bundle it is a really good value.

Covered a lot of reviews, question & answers, articles before purchasing the Xbox One S for my kids. I was excited about being able to play 4k movies and the use of the Kinnect. The first console quit powering up after the 5th day. It was plugged into its own outlet and not into a surge protector. When the power button was pushed it would light up for a few seconds and then turn off. After being on the phone and online support for more than 3 hours, it was decided to return the console. The exchange went without issue. But now the second console seems glitchy. Have had to hard power cycle at least once or twice a day when movies and/or games wont load. Issues with screen going haywire. 4k movies not loading. I am on my 3rd console, so law of averages shows 66% of your products have problems. If it wasnt for the ease of exchanges I would have just returned this last one and gotten my money back. But I will say that when it is working, the game play, kinnect and movies are great. Just need better stability.

I don't play very often. Any time I do, I seem to need a lengthy update of the Xbox software...which means I play even less often. Microsoft should arrange the updates to be executed upon exiting the game console. When I get past the updates and actually do play, I have no complaints. The console is good.

The 4k blu ray player is clearly one of the biggest selling points and the biggest differences between the xbox one s and the ps4 pro. Unfortunately the 4k blu ray player is horrible. And their customer service is clueless. I bought the movie Eddie The Eagle 4k. It didn't work, so I returned it. Copy number 2, and number 3 also would not work. I found an xbox support forum saying there was a bad batch of blu rays manufactured in early 2016 and a lot of people were having the same issues on a whole slew of other movies. Xbox claimed it was the disks that were the issue not the xbox, and that I should return it to the movie studio for a replacement. After paying shipping and waiting 4 weeks for my replacement from 20th Century Fox, it still didn't work. I read the forums some more and found where xbox admitted their blu ray player was manufactured to a newer spec than older blu ray players and those 4k movies weren't manufactured to that newer spec. In other words, the xbox blu ray player isn't backwards compatible with 4k movies made less than a year ago. Yet xbox still claims it's the disks not the xbox that have the problem. I returned my xbox and got a philips 4k blu ray player. The same disk that would not play on xbox played flawlessly on that. I wish I never listened to the best buy employee and stuck with the 4k player to begin with. If xbox would have just been up front about it, maybe put some kind of warning on the box this wouldn't have been such a big issue for me. But to me it just looks like they won't take responsibility for their bad player and are trying to cover their own butts. Waste enough of your time returning movies until it's too late to return the xbox. Fortunately for me, Best Buy's holiday return policy was still in effect. Also, Xbox doesn't support the most common sound format for 4k blu rays which is Dolby Atmos. They only give you a dumbed down version of it. And I guess they say its coming eventually some day in an update. But everything I found on that was very misleading and customer support is clueless on that as well. You need to be part of a special "preview/insiders" program in order to get it. And they make you think you can join, but you can't. At least not the part that would actually give you Atmos Sound. It's like buying a stereo and only the left speaker works, and they tell you the right one will work with an update some unforeseeable day in the future. To me, that's total BS. If it's being sold as a 4k blu ray player, I expect it to be a fully featured and fully functional 4k blu ray player right out of the box. This one isn't. And their customer service as well as the sales pitch they are promoting are very misleading. At least PS4 is up front about what it does and does not support. Honestly, It would be better to leave out the 4k player than put a bad one in. On a side note, my ps3 that I bought years ago that really started the idea of an all in one entertainment system, never had any issues. Even that will support Dolby Atmos sound on regular blu rays. And it shouldn't be expected to since it's an older system. My PS3 supported 3D blu rays as well, and is still being used on another TV. PS3 did it right when they included a blu ray player. I really wish one of the modern consoles would follow that example with 4k blu rays, but I guess we are out of luck.

When I bought this product the EA Access Code that came with it did not work I tried to reedem this code and it said error I tried everything and nothing work and I want to know if I could get a new one?

This product is absolutely horrible. Microsoft customer service is absolutely horrible. Games take a day to download even with the disc. Kinect is not compatible with Xbox One S, you need to buy a SEPERATE adapter which alone is $50. Interface is prehistoric looking, everything is overpriced, machine breaks and overheats easily. Please for your sake go with a PS4
