Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Xbox One S 500GB Minecraft Favorites Console Bundle's 4K capabilities, impressive graphics, ease of use, and the included Minecraft game. Many appreciate the console's smaller size and improved performance compared to its predecessor, along with the competitive price point for the bundle. However, customers are negative about the limited onboard storage space and some minor setup inconveniences. A few users also reported some issues with the Blu-ray player application.

Wanted to up grade my 360 to the One S What a mistake that turned out to be.First thing it has to do is update then when I put in Halo 5 it had to down load that.I played level one and the next day turned on the system and put in Halo 5 again. It would not load because I was off line.Turned out the game had to update and there went more of my data.I had also tried playing an old 360 game that was backward compatible World at War.Had to down load and that ate up several Gigs of data.I burned up 14 Gigs of data just trying to get a few games set up.My old 360 was not even hooked up to the internet.I just bought the games and played them.Thats not how this system works. It is a update down load Pig.Even if I had unlimited data I bought it to play games not to set and watch the percentage complete box. Also I throwed $30.00 away on a 4K movie it is suppose to play. But would not except my 4K Sony TV said it was not compatible.I guess my gaming days are done because the Geeks said the PS4 is the same way.Do not understand all the updates and downloads. The graphics are not one bit better then a 360 or PS3 that I also own.Im now locked out of any new released games that was the reason for the upgrade. What a racket it has turned into.

Bad Microsoft Support, can't play minecraft

I started using the Xbox One S. Seemed nice enough. I downloaded the Minecraft software and played it offline for a month, then all of a sudden, it wanted to verify my account. It had an old phone number that it wanted to send the verification code to. The defunct phone number was not in the Microsoft account I used. My guess is that they got it from my daughter's credit card I used to pay the 50 cents for the kids account. Anyway, I have spent 2 months and probably 30 hours doing online chat and on the phone with Microsoft to try to play my minecraft game that came with the Xbox. They couldn't figure out where the defunct phone number came from and would NOT give me access to play minecraft. They told me to delete my accounts, reset my box and start over. I did that. Now they say they will only grant me access to the accounts I removed. All this for an inexpensive minecraft game. Microsoft support is a mess. I don't suggest buying this product. BTW, I have an MS in Computer Science, teach CS at a university, and manage a software development group. I am no computer slouch. Good luck if you buy this product. I wouldn't buy it again.

You have to download the game before you play it that sucks. The Downloading process reminds you of dial-up internet days.

I'm pretty good with technology but the set up on this was so time consuming I returned it. Wiring is easy but the rest including accounts, other users, etc. was horrible. When i was returning it there was some one at the countet also returning theirs. Not a best buy issue just a Microsoft one. Very disappointed!!!

This Xbox's display failed after about a year or so. I didnt have the geek squad warranty, so I had to jump through an infinite amount of hoops with Microsoft to figure out the issue (ended up just buying a new console). Also, it is 2020! For sure buy a newer console. These are trash.

This is a good Xbox for younger kids. The Hard drive is too small for serious gamers though.

I bought this while on sale, compared to my ps4 the xbox battery controller is very outdated, the user interface is a bit confusing. When it come sto exclusive games, there really isnt anything here. Halo collection is ok, Gears is cool but thats it. I ended up selling my xbox about 3 months later

The adapter for the sensor (and the sensor itself) could've been bundled with it.
