Bought this to play 4k movies. The games are just a bonus.

If you are looking to buy an XBox one, you already know why you do and don't want it... I for sure recommend the one s simply because the game play is noticeably smoother aside from that, its not a huge improvement from the one. I didn't give this a 5 because each game requires you to download it and to me that seems unnecessary... aside from that, my whole family loves the XBox.

Great unit for family use. Do not like that you have to use data to install games you buy in the store (with a disc)....but that is how all of the systems are doing it now, I am told. It does seem to get "hot" after a couple hours of play and game will glitch; it is fine after turn off and let it cool down a bit though. Overall happy with the unit and choices of games for kids.

A little more detailed setting up than thought but once setup works great

The X-box One offers numerous online purchases of games and opportunities to play with others online. My grandson loves it. Perhaps, it's due to my internet service, I'm not sure, but the downloading of a game seems to take days to complete. I purchased some extra downloadable items for Mortal Combat and it only took a few minutes. All in all I feel it was a great investment.

My 7 yrs old daughter became a minecraft fan after we purchased this game console from Best Buy. She is now an expert in building homes, hotels, schools. A little architect! I love watching her playing with daddy. Very age appropriate game.

After tiring of seeing games not being released on the XBOX360 my son made the commitment to save up his pennies for an XBOX One. Obviously the games are bigger and better. A nice plus is being able to play Blu-Ray discs, so we could remove that item from the TV as well. Also nice to be able to run apps like Netflix, Plex, etc., so it's a good complete media device.

I bought the Xbox One S for my grandson to play on when he comes to visit, but my wife and I are having as much fun with it as he does! Only one thing I haven't been able to figure out - When I shut the console off and then come back later and turn it on and try to restart a game it says, "no saved games." I restart the console and then it finds the saved games.

is good price and my son play hours with this product with no problems.

I am a PS4 fan personally, but I wanted a console that will be mostly used as a 4K media player for the living room. The Xbox OneS is great for streaming and Microsoft does have a nice user interface. If you get it for around $300 it's a worth it.

Bought this Xbox/Minecraft bundle for my 8 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and would be on it 24/7 if we allowed it! Takes a little while for all the software etc to install (frustrating if you're 8!!) but once done is brilliant.

Controls just like 360 but has a blue ray player with 4k so that's great

This is a great buy for kids who is starting to play games.

For what it is, it is an excellent gaming console and DVD player. However, one of the main reason I don't like Microsoft products is because of the difficulty of set up and navigation compared to other platforms. Right out of the box, it had an update that needed to be done, but it failed and took awhile to get it straightened out. I was a bit disappointed.

Love the new Xbox s and minecraft games for my son. He loves them both.

So far, it works great. We got the Minecraft edition. Kids love it.
