Customers are saying
Customers commend the Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle for its attractive color, sharp graphics, and excellent performance. Many appreciate it as a great console that is easy to use and offers good value for the price. However, some users point out that the storage space is limited, requiring an external hard drive for additional game storage. The relatively small hard drive size is a recurring concern among some customers.

It's Ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son, and insisted that he really wouldn't like this game, but he had saved his money, and I met him half way. He's always enjoyed mine, though I don't play it much anymore. But he didn't play games like this before, mostly just Halo, Forza, Titanfall etc. Though he just thought it looked really cool. As I read reviews it's a love or hate title. And he's 17, so I thought, well it's ok. I offered to give him mine for a fraction of the price, but as kids go, he wouldn't listen. Bought the console, got it home, popped it out of the box. He was very psyched that is was white. So I thought maybe I had eaten my words and felt a little bad. Upon hooking it up, it was a bit slower than I remember in the updating process when I got mine. So finally after it finished, we went to make an account for my son, which took forever, because almost everything was taken that we made up. And he couldn't even remember his password for the 360, and didn't like the name (email) on it anyway. So we took some strange name they gave him. Now it's written down, and I'm hoping he doesn't lose it. I have a 1TB drive with some games on it, so I plugged it in for him to use under my name. Well, at first it wouldn't recognize the External HDD, so I plugged it into mine and it was fine. So he went ahead with the game which is over 121gb when you install the movies as well. By this time I could see him getting more and more aggravated. So sure enough after about 2 hours of game play, he asked me why he couldn't skip the cutscenes. I said that's the type of game it is, So the movie is a package deal. About another 20 minutes after that he said, Dad, I'm sorry but I really hate this game!!! I asked if he wanted to keep it, after we had to restore the system to default settings (again) to get it to recognize my HDD. He said no not really. He actually said and I quote "I really just like my old 360 better". Which was a total shock. I said ok it's your money. Took back the system, now he's aiming for a PS4 later one, when DOOM comes out. So I guess we'll see what happens. Overall the system is still slow, glitchy, takes for ever to install, and even read some discs. And just overall isn't a "great" console. 2 stars on here means fair. And that's just what it is, I'll probably end up selling mine to gamestop, and probably giving my son the store credit. Since I really don't game anymore. And he can get his PS4. Which from what I've seen, my daugthers boyfriend claims it's the holy grail of gaming. Lets hope so. Lesson learned for me. If you know something about games, please at all costs, try to reason with your teen. And don't let them decide if they like it or not. Or you'll be returning a lot of games. IMO. :)

Over Rated System
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off this review is not a reflection of Best Buy, this a review of the Xbox One system only. I bought the Xbox One Quantum Break Bundle to replace my Playstation 3. My playstation is old and the HDMI port is wearing out. The Xbox One bundle was $299 on sale with the ability to play Xbox 360 games. Impressive selling points for the system to any buyer, that and I have heard many good things about both the 360 and the One. I cannot express how let down I am by the system. First off, the system is incredibly bulky for a "next gen" system. Its about twice the size of my playstation 3. The next let down in the fact that the controllers still take batteries!!! How stone age is that?!?! My playstation 3 has rechargeable controllers that still hold a charge for many, MANY hours. The real disappointment lies in how the system operated. It was slow to upgrade, it was slow to download the quantum break game, the "seamless" transition between apps was glitchy, the VUDU app was terrible! When playing quantum break the graphics were sub par for a "next gen" system, and having the game downloaded to the system I would expect it to run with no interruption which was not the case. The game would BUFFER!!!!!!! BUFFER!!!! I give the system 2 stars not 1 because the system actually worked and did what it was supposed to do, but what it was supposed to do was terrible. I don't understand why this systems sells as well as it does but I guess I will never understand Xbox owners. I do NOT recommend this system to be bought.
