I have utilized this system for my gaming and sports needs. I am truly thinking of purchasing a larger smart television for the family gathering needs and also utilizing with laptop and blu Ray system. The sound quality along with the picture are amazing.

Good Gaming System, Let down on media applications

However, i was really hoping to make this more of a media console for the main room. It works ok for that , but one of the key functions i wanted was the voice command option with the kinect. That has been really lack luster so far though. Other than that, the system works great, and has good apps/games to keep you entertained.

They seem to have finally accepted that the gamers want a system and not a blown up tv remote. Kinect is awesome but useless so far as no real games are out for it. Great buy and easy to use with tons of options.

But you also have to have fast speed on your Internet when installing games.. otherwise it may take a long time.. the console is quiet but quite large.... all n all I love my xbox one and would recommend this to family or a friend. .
