Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Xbox One with Kinect Bundle's Kinect, graphics, ease of use, and price. Many appreciate the console's performance and the wide array of features it offers, with voice control being a frequently praised element. However, some users found the initial setup process somewhat challenging. Overall, the positive feedback on the Kinect and the enjoyable gaming experience outweighs the reported setup difficulties.

within two weeks after xmas, unit not working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit not working within two weeks after xmas. Cannot take it back as Best Buy has the worst return policy. Only 2 weeks after xmas. I wish I had seen the local TV spot about companies with worst return policies before I purchased from Best Buy.

Good Overall Deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Xbox bundle because it included the Kinect, which I wanted for the voice features. The voice feature allows you to tell the Xbox to turn on and activate all your devices like TV, receiver, etc. Also, you can tell it to turn off everything with a few words. My favorite feature is flipping between games and live TV because I have my HTPC (Note: Comcast, Direct TV and others work as well) connect into the HDMI input. If you plan on purchasing the Kinect this is one of cheapest combination. With the 1TB consoles you would pay $399.99 for the console with game, but pay $99.99 (on sale) for the Kinect, which puts you at $499.99. Buying this bundle allow you to just need to purchase the game, which you would save $40.00. Beware: my only negative is Best Buy did not put the proper description on this bundle. It only includes the standard (non-revised) controller. The typo error is on Best Buy, but the older controller is on Microsoft. Not sure specifically why they choose to put the old controller in the box. Going to assume they had a larger left over inventory. The actual console wasn't that old though, so I know its not a lot of left over old Kinect bundle packs with new boxes. My Xbox One console was made June of this year. If you plan on getting another controller I wouldn't worry about the controller issue because you can get the new ones with the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The secondary non-revised controller can be given to a friend while playing MP. Also, a controller review I read said they make some adjustments to how the buttons feel. I would have gave 5 starts if it included the revised Xbox One controller, but overall the bundle is a good deal.

A Great Family Bundle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've been holding off on upgrading from the 360 until all the bugs had been worked out of the first gen units. Plus, as Microsoft gets closer to de-supporting 360 game development, we finally decided to pull the trigger. I'm a researcher...almost OCD about it...before I make a purchase. Given you get three games, core unit with controller, and Kinect, this is a great deal. That being said, if you don't have younger kids, consider yourself a "gamer", or don't care to dabble with "hands free" technology the Kinect provides, this isn't the bundle for you. For my family, it's perfect. That being said, yes...it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Not an issue for us, since I had to get two more controllers for the boys anyway. Some may also wonder about the small 500GB hard drive. This was a major concern for me also, knowing how large games are and that ALL games are now installed and played from the hard drive, even if you purchase a disc. The disc is only used to validate you own it, otherwise, the game runs completely off the hard drive. However, after reading numerous discussions on the topic, it's still actually better to get a 500GB unit and add an external drive for additional storage. Reason being that the internal SATA bus is still slower than the external USB 3.0. So, since it's the holidays, a 2TB Seagate Backup Slim can be had for $60-$70. I've have a couple of those drives, so was comfortable getting one to expand the system. It works fantastic, and we now have a 2.5TB system $20 more #if you subtract $100 for the Kinect#. So, long story short, if you took a base 1TB system #including one of the bundled games#, add the cost of a 1TB-2TB, add two Kinect games, and add the Kinect, you'll be well over the amount we paid for everything. The kids love the Kinect games #but will probably get old fast if you don't have kiddos to keep YOU engaged# and the sensor functionality is proving to be interesting as I slowly explore different capabilities and think about how much I want to integrate in the overall home theater. One more side note...many people have made comments about the Kinect and younger kids...content and sensor sensitivity wise. Content wise, games are not for the extremely young and typically need at least very basic reading skills. My 6 year old is just starting to read and is getting the hang of it in the games...it's actually getting him to read a little more! As for the sensor calibration, my first calibration was using me as the focal point. When I did that, it had a hard time picking up the 6 year old. Plus, I had adjusted the sensor a bit moving things around. So, I decided to use him to calibrate the next time. Since then, we haven't had issues with the sensor following hand movements, etc. Keep this in mind as a potential solution if you're also having trouble with little ones. Definitely well worth the money...and hope it lasts as long as the 360. For those dinging the One for lack of 360 compatibility...they should have known that up front if they researched before buying. However, Microsoft is really starting to push the backward compatibility since it's rollout last month, releasing 360 freebie games to One, expanding the list, etc. Trust me...we have a lot of 360 games and would like to eliminate the 360 altogether...but will just keep dual systems for now. The phase out pace seems reasonable.

Very good Bundle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great value bundle if you have kids and love Kinect games. Sports rival and Dance central maximize the kinect usage. Zoo tycoon for kids. One disadvantage in this bundle, is you wont get controller with 3.5mm jack. Its old controller. if you looking for new controller you need to get different bundle.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quite happy with this product..bought during thanks giving for 350 and feels that its was a much better decision than buying one without kinnect for 299. It took almost 1 hour for Os upgrade and 7-8 hours for three games download but now once its all set enjoying the buy.. cheers , product was delivered 3 days before the due date ... cheers !!!!
