It outputs excellent sound and UHD via the HDMI. I drive a home theater with 5.1 surround sound, and this is my only UHD player. Also happy to find that this unit is quieter than XBox One and the Xbox 360.

System is several times more powerful without becoming burning hot during use and even has an internal power supply within while a much smaller form factor. Such easy setup and streamlined design eliminated all the main issues I had with my prior system.
