I just purchased a 4TB HDD to supplement this beast of a machine. 4K Games (not all but more than the competing console), 4K Blu-Ray player (not included in the competing console), that amazing controller all in a smaller package then the Xbox One S. WOW. ALL games will run better then they did on the Xbox one S and any Xbox before it. Most upcoming games will also take advantage of all that RAM(12GB) and 6 Teraflops of GPU juice. You won't be disappointed when the dash board runs smooth as butter and your games all look gorgeous. Enjoy.

But after that, the process was seamless, and easy.

Awesome Upgraded Console
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my reservations about getting the xbox one x as I mainly game on the PS4 Pro. However, i have some friends at work that game on the xbox, so I decided to splurge. Firstly, the 4k graphics are amazing and the load times are great as well. I have played COD WW2 and PUBG on the console. I have to admit that I like playing COD WW2 on the XBOX One X more than the PS4 Pro. PUBG is fun, but needs a lot of bugs worked out. I hardly ever write reviews and I have to admit that Microsoft knocked out of the park with this console. I am not a Playstation or Microsoft fanboy. I enjoy playing games on both. The PS4 Pro is also a great console, but for sheer power, I give it to the Xbox One X .

One benefit of updates during setup is improved operation and updated features; once you're set up, most updates will happen in the background and won't affect normal operation. I have a 4K 55” Samsung TV and Barry notice any change between the Xbox One X and S models. Since not all games offer 4K, the S console is practically useless. Would hold off if purchasing as an upgrade, wait for sub $300 price and/or for all games to become 4K quality.

Additionally the console has froze every now and then. PS4 PRO is a better buy in my opinion. I should have save a couple hundred bucks and bought the S model.
