Incredible system, well worth it if you’re upgrading from the original Xbox one or switching from PS4 like myself. Playing Shadow of War is awesome especially on my Samsung QLED. The only thing Better on PS4 is the media set up is a little easier to navigate to. Microsoft could do better, it feels cluttered but I’ve never owned an Xbox so it’s probably just new for me. You won’t be disappointed

They gave me an xbox and the disk reader doesn't work they did not want to exchange

Awesome LUXURY console. By luxury I mean its not necessary to get this in replacement of the Xbox 1S however if you are the type that wants the most out of the machine and max power then the X is for you. Here are some notes I've come up with thus far. 1. 4k, 4k, 4k - The X was geared towards the newest and greatest Tvs available. There was a great increase from the Xbox One to the X. Played it on my Samsung, non 4k, and it was a good increase. For those that want MAX level the 4k gave me an additional 20ish% increase in quality. 2. Button not touch - the power button is a button- not the "touch screen" of xbox. Minor detail but dang that thing got annoying. 3. Let go of the Surge - i reaserched the X before getting it. There has been a power issue with the X and not coming on. Found out the X has a built in surge protector. For this reason double tapping with surges will cause the X not to get enough power. It is made to plug into the wall. 4. Meh boot me up - yes the boot up and loading screen when powered on does take a little longer than the predecessors but hey, it's only a handfull of seconds more get over it. 5. Elites - your elite controller works just fine. So it is a must increase from the X1 but a maybe from the X1S. Great investment, cant wait to see what 4k games come out and what it will look like on a 8kTv :-p. Merry christmas everyone.

Sold my one and got this. Faster than the one and graphics are amazing! Wish we had more new games that had came out with it at launch. Smaller than the one which doesn't take up as much room. Quiet and doesn't get hot and bye bye power brick!!!!

Before I give my thoughts on the one x I really do not understand people here. Why are people so angry? Why do people assume I'm crying a corner because I can't play some Sony exclusive? Why do people assume I'm interested in buying all these PC parts to build some super awesome machine that I would never play on? I gotta be honest I don't have time to sit and be a "hardcore" gamer filling my "backlog" I have something called a wife and daughter that takes up most of my time. Every time I look for an honest review of something it's filled with people attacking people saying they are missing out on this and that or whatever, it's like mentality of teenagers fulfilling their self worth. I honestly buy maybe 5 games a year which consist of games like Madden, CoD, Destiny and occasional RPG like fallout. Like I am not sad I don't get to play those super dooper cool anime rpgs on ps4, or the "breathtaking horizon dawn. You people need to accept the fact majority of people who buy video games areent trying to buy every single game. That being said The Xbox one X is a great piece of hardware. The games that are enhanced there is a substantial difference and I am enjoying the all around faster experience. I am very satisfied with it so far.

This is a niche product for console gamers who are serious about gaming and/or having the best console experience possible. I buy all my multiplates on the Xbox One X. Games will run and look their best on the X. If you have a 4k tv and a possion for gaming, this is a no brainer!

Burnt out within a year. Trying to get it fixed but no luck.

Microsoft did things right with this Console. Games look and run amazing. Even if you don't have a 4K TV you will still notice a difference in your games playing them on a 1080P TV. But of course a 4K TV takes things to a whole new level. If you are a gamer and want the games to look the best definitely get the Xbox One X!!

Great system, great evolution for any xbox user that is looking for a step up in their system, and getting a good 4k player along with it. Looks absolutely magnificent paired with a 4k display with HDR. Essentially requires that tv in order to realize the absolute complete benefit. That being said even if you currently have a non UHD tv, other benefits include better loading times, better game performance, and the best resolution output possible for your game, so buying the system will have benefits regardless of setup. Still, make a plan to get a 4k HDR display because you are leaving a lot of the most impressive aspects of the system off of the table.

I previously owned the first gen Xbox One. It was loud and did not process and handle new games how I liked. I decided to upgrade to the Xbox One X after PUBG came out. I decided to purchase this along with a new TCL 4k HDR tv. The combination of these two is amazing. 1TB is enough space for me and transferring files over from my old xbox and new X was so simple and fast with the file transfer option on the Xbox's. This console does everything it claims. It is faster and more powerful. The graphics are night and day compared to the First Gen. I am happy with my purchase.

This is a great way to play. Fast, reliable, works well. And with 4K, oh my goodness the graphics are so pretty. I wish I had upgraded sooner.

This is by far the best console you can buy, as the specs are better than PS4 Pro by a mile. I find it funny that so many PS4 fanboys are spamming these Xbox One X reviews and down-voting everything.

This is what the xbox one should have been from the start. I dont know why everyone says its only worth it if you have a 4k tv? i have played it on my 1080p TV 1080P computer monitor and my sony 940D 4k 75 inch TV. even at 1080p the difference from the original xbox one is substantial. much clearer even at 1080p most games super sample down to 1080p from 4k or you get 1080p at 60 hrtz refresh for smooth game play. If you want a game system that will look much better on any TV get this one its great!

From what I've seen and researched, this is the real deal for anyone who wants to take advantage of that 4k tv that's been starving for a true 4k experience. No doubt this is the tech you've been waiting for.

Amazing-true break through in the gaming world. This Xbox is worth every penny. Graphics are unreal and frame rate is very improved. Looks soooo good.

Get game more like a computer then a game i love it

I had the Xbox One S Battlefield 1 edition. I've been using a Sony XBR750 for my 65" 4K needs. The Xbox One S was great at doing 4K upscaling, and with this Xbox One X swap, I saw no real difference(marginally better smoothness). At least with Battlefield 1. Only difference I actually could notice a difference with typing and switchign from applications, it was quite smooth. I'm going to try Star Wars Battlefront 2 and see how that works. However, with all things considered and for the price, just get the Xbox One S package deal on eBay, 2 new games, 2 controllers for $229, can't beat it for the price, $500 for this is not worth it.

The wait time for this was worth it. Runs games better and faster, it runs whisper quiet and a lot cooler than the original
