When I write product reviews, I make it a point to avoid making any seemingly overhyped remarks. BUT, as I had until yesterday (1/8/18) owned a PS4 Pro, there is a tremendous difference with the Xbox One X ! In Destiny 2, the graphics, texture and frame rate are on a whole new level--I noticed how Cayde's cap had individual stitches from six feet way from the screen. In Forza 7, not only does the cars look and sound real, the road and weather conditions can change at a moment's notice with no warning--in real time. The much improved sharpness is impossible to overstate. I literally said out loud when I started playing FIFA 18, "man the Pro can't compare to this at all..." . Xbox has made true 4K gaming on the console real, and just imagine what developers can do once they have more time to explore it's power. And what about the exclusive games? look for the Xbox One X Enhanced titles, and you'll feel like older titles such as Halo Wars 2 or Gears of War 4 are reborn in 4K.

This console is definitely the most powerful of both the Xbox One family of consoles and all consoles to date. It's also a great value, $500 for a machine that can play games at native 4K resolution at 60 FPS with HDR colors is a great value. (Plus, the added power by itself runs games smoother, and loads them faster. Older games like Fallout 3 barely have load screens at all.) An added plus is the built-in 4K UHD Blu-Ray player, which alone would cost you a couple hundred dollars. You probably couldn't build a PC that can do all that with a $500 budget. It can also play several Xbox 360 titles through backwards compatibility, and even a few Xbox Original titles. The controller both feels and plays great, and I haven't had any problems with it since I got it on launch day. Would definitely recommend Microsoft's most powerful console.

This console is so awesome. The graphics and performance is flawless, even on a 1080p tv it's clear. Trust me you will not be upset with your purchase. Best system hands down.

I will always be a big Xbox fan, 90% of my gaming friends play on Live so that's where i play. X-Box Live has always been superior to PSN, I love my PS4 but Live is where it's at. The One X is a beautiful machine and all the strides Microsoft has made the past year to win back their fans is amazing. The game pass is a steal, backwards compatability is a HUGE bonus and gaming in 4k HDR is simply amazing. I love this machine and I'm feeling good about your future Microsoft! I have one simple request PLEASE get some new IP's for your console, Sony is kicking your butt in that aspect and it's why I won one and play on it.

I viewed the Xbox 2017 E3 briefing and wow...... The Xbox One X is a must buy for gamers .......... it is a game changer.... liquid cooled and extra ram to boost load times plus a revolutionary way to maximize the efficiency of all the parts on the motherboard......... What? When? How? .... sign me up...... Microsoft just showed why they put Phil Spencer in charge of the Xbox team. Look out Sony...... wow... I need the X in my life............ thank you Phil... you listened to the thoughts and views of so many gamers out there and gave them what they wished for....... GAME ON!!!!

XBOX ONE X the best console made up to this date of 2017 if you don't get this your crazzy 4k native on gaming 60fps on every game that the devolpers make 60 frames 4k streaming video ect need i say more i think not!! If you do not get one your in the past gaming don't matter if you have a 4k tv or not it will work on a 1080p tv and make games even better looking in 1080p then the current xbox one console omg lets gooo!! Liquid cooling omg lets goo wont have to worry about it overheating for sure!! I played this beast at E3 2017 take my money now!!!!

Picked this up in a sale, sold my One S to pay for part of the cost. I still don't have a 4K HDR display, but I've been blown away by the difference in some of the enhanced games I do play. It looks better in 1080p then the old system, and it definitely loads faster. The biggest seller for me though is the noise - this thing is sitting about 3 feet from where I play, and I can't even hear it most of the time. I've been playing Assassins Creed Origins, and Forza Horizon 3, and I'm glad I bought this to play them on.

Prior to the Series S|X, this was a beast console. Now, I'd say you're money is better spent on the S, or preferably the X if you have the extra funds.

I am a devoted Playstation Fanboy and was about to pull the trigger on a PS4 Pro however when I found out it did not have a 4K Blu Ray DVD Player I was sorely disappointed and moved on to Xbox. Was I glad I did since not only is this sleek and displays games in 4K but it plays all my 4K DVDs and I can mount it vertically in a stand behind my OLED Sony TV. You will not be sorry you spent the extra cash on this one!

Insane looking graphics and power. Games load a lot faster and Dolby Atmos sounds amazing

It's a console, not a PC. For those who dont do PC, here is your console. But, I would also like to add this. I have played my games on the PC like forever! Now I can bring games into the living room. This is very big for me! So, there are so many reasons to buy this. Specs, specs and specs! Now which 4K TV has the smallest lag time?

Have had this for about 4 - 5 years now. Graphics and game play have been proven to be nearly as good as the ones you find in the new Xbox Series S however load times will not be as fast as it is running some older hardware. But overall it has stood the test of time well and if you can get one cheap I highly recommend it!

Basically if you already own a Xbox One and don't really want high end graphics when playing, then this is not for you even stated by Phill himself. This is not a new console, but more lan upgrade that won't have exclusives and the same games will be able to be played on Xbox One and Xbox One S as well. It's a powerful console, but that's all you are buying here, is it's power. It's for someone that wants an upgrade or someone that hasn't bought an Xbox One yet. Also keep in mind not all games will feature 4K, they will have to be patched and supported by the developers first. Do your research before buying, to make sure this is something you want. One con is it only has a 1TB HDD, even if it supports external HDDs. 1TB is still not enough especially if you are pushing a 4K console. So add that extra money for more HDD space, if you don't already own one.

It's a console, not a PC. For those who dont do PC, here is your console option. It's been like that since the 1980's, there will be those who want to go the extra mile like myself and play the best now. I have been playing my games in 4k for the past year with 2 1080's in SLI mode. You console nuts have to wait, so it's totally up to the consumer. And neither option is better then the other.

My original 500g Xbox one was still doing well, little sluggish but overall I liked it. I had gotten a new 4k tv and wanted to go for the xbox one x and it's leaps and bounds above the old one. Even just the build quality feels improved, it's hard to explain but it is very solid and feels well made. It's small, quiet and the 4k looks awesome. Would definitely recommend.

Best console you can buy.. Makes the PS Pro look like a vacuum cleaner.. Don't wast money on a playstation..It can't even play 4k blu ray movies..LOLOLOL
