As soon as I plugged it in, I got disappointed feelings. For a common user like me, it is no slower or faster in boot time compare to S. I pushed a 4k disk and it was so noisy with the humming sound that it brought me into tears :( the noise remain consistent unless I close the bluray app. I gave it a night and now overall experience is definitely better compare to S. The picture and sound quality is better compare to S. I can feel it immediately because I didn't change a thing except replacing S with X. Overall, I would say, if you have extra 200$ to spare, go for X. You will definitely get all that's in S just a little better. 200$ difference at first seems high, but considering it will be with me for next two years, I guess it is worth to spend extra.

Also many games give you the option to increase the resolution or instead up the frame rate with the standard resolution. Very happy with the upgrade.

Very easy to navigate and function. 4k is amazing loads 10 times faster than any other system. I always load games quicker then my friends on live and get to screens while they still load.

Games would not finish updating and the dreaded green screen. Many resets later, returned for another. The second renewed my faith in Microsoft gaming. Games look great on this console. Occasionally will not connect to Xbox online services even when showing a WiFi connection. Be sure to have adequate ventilation as it does produce some heat. Would have been five stars had my first experience been better.
