The unit does run louder than its predecessors but not a deal breaker. I often use the console as a UHD player as well.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There is not much I can write here that you can't find on the gamer's forums, neither enough space for that, but what I can say is that this is the electronic with more use in my house. Both my kids are straight A students (APs) so I don't have many arguments to limit their time on the basement. I can hear them having fun for hours and this console has repaid itself. The only thing I control is the games they play.

All I can say is that it changes the game literally, but my only suggestion is that if you really want the best performance you need to get a 4k TV too.

I already had a 4K TV but I was skeptical that it would really make that much of a difference. Man was I wrong. Not just visually, but even in performance. Of course, there are the enhanced games and even recent releases like PUBG play remarkably better besides their obvious visual fidelity being much improved. I would highly recommend the X if you have it on the list of maybe even.
