Customers commend the Xbox Series S for its affordability, compact size, and impressive performance, especially considering its price point. Give it a shot.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent System! If you don't mind going all digital as I pretty much did with the Xbox One X, then you'll be fine. What amazed me most of all is how fast it is. It literally boots to a ready state twice as fast as the PS5 which I also have.

Great gift!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Husband loved it! That’s all I need to say. I don’t understand why they force you to say more. It’s not genuine if you do that. HOWEVER, he said was one of the best gifts I ever gave.

Good console. Lack of space
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using with my new LG 45 in monitor. This console is better then they used to be. I will say im not a fan of the lack of disk drive. They only made this a 500gb console. And there is no disk drive... any game these days require 200-300 gb for download which takes 1/3 of the drive space alone... requiring a external drive to cover space if you play multiple games

Great console
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This a a great console for 1080p and 1440p gaming at 60 fps. It will still look great on a 4K panel as well. If you are coming from an Xbox one console you won’t regret this at all the graphics, load times, and the way it feels is all so much better. The ssd makes all the difference with the loading times and fluidity if the UI. I think coming from an Xbox one X, this is a good upgrade as well, since new games won’t be optimized for the One X anymore in the coming years. If you’re a casual gamer this is perfect, if you’re a hardcore gamer that wants the best fps and best resolution the series X is the better option. One downside is the storage capacity. It is marketed as a 512 gb drive but only 300 and something is usable. I personally don’t play that many games at once so it is fine but if you play lots of huge games then the series x is the better option. I also feel like marketing this as a 1440p console is not truly accurate as most titles run at 1080p 60 and sometimes 1440 30. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it is a great and affordable way to experience next gen games.

Great console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From someone who was originally planning on getting the PS5 I missed out and instead settled on the Xbox series S. I planned on getting this eventually but not until later in the year however this console is a great system for both new and existing Xbox fans.

Good? yes!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son to replace his Xbox s. He uses a 1440p monitor and this is absolutely perfect! It runs at 1440p 60frames! One thing I really liked is the ability to run all you older items. Controllers, headsets, remotes, etc.... It boots up quick and the quick resume is freaking awesome. Perfect for PC monitors.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was definitely debating whether this was going to be a good choice because of the limited amount of storage but definitely best bang for your buck to get into the new gen consoles

Love Xbox S and Xbox game pass together!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Xbox! I use it in my bedroom when I am relaxing after chemo treatments so I can play Xbox game pass games while laying in my comfy bed or in the living room (super easy to move it from room to room) rather than sitting at my computer that has a very uncomfortable chair. Really love this system and it is replacing my old Xbox 360 that I rarely use anymore but have found myself using this system a lot. I do feel like the controllers aren’t as nice as the Xbox 360 ones. The plastic seems cheaper and the sticks don’t move as smoothly so that is a bummer.

S vs X
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have both the s and the x in two different setups. I actually think I like the S better. Sure the X has more bells and whistles, but the S does just fine and I don't miss the other features

Series S
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well... I have been playing for one week now. I tried several games like Godfall (i would rate 4/10), Spider-Man Remastered (10/10 so far), Astro Bots (I'm an playstation fan for over 25 year now - so... 10/10!), God of War PS+ collection (10/10 - even it's only 30fps) and many other games I owned before: CoD Warzone, Battlefield 5, Rainbow Six Siege, No Mans Sky, Destiny 2, Madden NFL, GTA online. All in all I'm very impressed by the smoothness of the PS5 UI. Everything works more fluently and faster. It's very easy and fast to create and join parties! And I really love the new controller as it is a bit bigger, fitting perfect in my hands. I really love the adaptive triggers, as they for example simulates the tension of spider-mans webs when web-swinging through new york! That's awesome!

This is a great upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice upgrade from my original Nintendo. Too bad I can’t play Mario on it. I guess I’ll never be able to save the queen since she’s always in another castle. The graphics are great! Way better than the boxy Nintendo graphics. I downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator and I am amazed by how it’s like you are really flying. I get so carried away that I fly for hours. It makes for an upset wife when I tell her I can’t do chores. You know you take take off in a plane on a scheduled 2 hr flight and stop the flight early. You have to land that bad boy. And boy did I grease the landing when I did. The landing was a 9/10. Anyhow this is a great console. Great apps and great games.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was clueless about the difference between this and my son's original Xbox One. He did some research and explained it to me like it was 1997: yes, it plays the old games, but the new ones look and play much better and faster.

Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will give a few quick cons then a pro. Cons: 1. Storage space. Period. Large next gen games, expect to only have 3 or 4 games installed at a time. The usable amount is not the 500gb. It was more around 400 I believe. The games are so large on next gen consoles and can easily fill up. 2. The system is good and next gen, however it is not a huge leap over the Xbox One X (In my opinion). At the price you are paying, the extra $200 for the Series X is literally a huge difference maker and I believe you would be better off trying to obtain one over this. I think it should be cheaper because the gap between the consoles is very significant. Pro: Ray tracing. This is what the Xbox One X did not have and will be the most noticable thing from the jump to the Series S. It is beautiful, however runs better on the Series X. Again, my opinion. Overview: All in all, I wish I would have bought two Series X consoles over one each. The Series X has a 1Tb SSD and the useable space is up in the 800s gb. So there is more potential there. I would only buy this console if it were for a younger child who can't tell the difference in gaming and you wanted to get them on the next gen systems, but don't be surprised when they complain about harddrive space.
