My son’s smile was so large as he unwrapped it was worth every penny. The Series S is a beast for its size, pumping out crisp 1440p visuals and smooth 120 FPS gameplay. Quick Resume lets my son zip between Fortnite, Minecraft, and Halo Infinite without missing a beat, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (a steal at $15/month) floods our library with hundreds of titles. From co-op chaos in Overcooked with his little sister to my sneaky Sims 4 sessions, it’s a family affair. Backwards compatibility even let me introduce my son to Fable, and we’re both hooked. The controller’s comfy grip is perfect for small hands, and the energy-efficient design keeps our bills in check. No disc drive, but digital downloads are lightning-fast. My son (12) was able to set everything up himself, which is nice because I am simply not tech-savvy. X-box made it very easy to connect to our t.v. and to set up the apps/games by himself with only a little help from me in providing my email address, etc. The speed of this thing is excellent, I notice no lag. The images are sharp. The controller works quickly, easily and I’ve never been more impressed with a video game console. I also want to add that Best Buy made the buying process easy with online purchase and the in store pick up was a breeze. I just showed my barcode from the app, she scanned it, and 20 seconds later I was out the door with the best gift of the year, even better than a Red Ryder BB pew. I will always order my electronics from Best Buy. This made for a great Christmas. Don’t worry, I’m making him work off some of the cost with chores around my house. Happy kid, happy mom.

The Xbox Series S is a great little console for the price. It’s fast, plays games smoothly, and loads super quickly. Game Pass makes it even better since you get tons of games to play. Sure, there’s no disc drive, but if you’re cool with digital games, it’s no big deal. If you want next-gen gaming without spending a fortune, this is a solid choice.

The Xbox series s console has got to be one of the best consoles for a person to get out there. The Xbox series s came with its own HDMI cable, for you to hook to a TV or monitor. It is also the perfect size for your desk and is smaller than a PS5. The performance of the Xbox series s is above and beyond, with its great graphics. Also the Xbox series s runs insanely fast.

This is a great Xbox if you are on a budget. The storage isn’t enough for all my game downloads but you could buy and external storage to combat the only issue I have with this console. I current have Roller Coaster Tycoon, all Modern War Fare games, Valorant and Star Wars Jedi game. I ran out of storage so having and external drive helps with downloading more games.

The Xbox Series S has completely blown my socks off! It’s crazy how fast and smooth everything runs, and the graphics look incredible, especially for such a compact console. Load times are almost nonexistent . Whether I’m playing solo or with friends, I know I’m guaranteed a good time! If you’re on the fence, just go for it you won’t regret it!

A very good console for the price, most games I play you can’t tell the difference between this and the series X(which I used to own). The only big drawback is the lack of onboard storage without buying the extra ssd, digital only consoles should have a minimum of 1TB in my opinion.All and all a good buy.

I bought this to bring with me on trips because it is very small and easy to carry. It runs esports games like Apex, Valorant, and Fortnite pretty well, but the latest AAA games look and perform much worse on Series S than on the more expensive Series X and PS5. The 500gb storage capacity will fill up pretty fast, but if you only play a few games every week, it won't be too much of a problem. It is a good secondary machine, but if you don't have a console already I would recommend the PS5 instead.

My lil xbox is standing strong even after a few years and is still quiet, a bit small on storage but i just added an external hardrive and problem solved

I bought The Xbox Series S 5 months ago. And I am very pleased with it. I am happy that it can run MSFS 2024 without much problems. This console is a good step in the console gaming world it can run games like call of duty perfectly and more game that seem demanding and are demanding but the Xbox Series S manages that basically it’s a good next gen console but it’s amazing for the price.
