So finally after hours of research we've decided to pull the plug and get the Series S for him and he really likes it. He mainly uses it to play racing games and what an improvement from his old system. We are so glad we decided to buy it verses continue to wait. I really recommend it.

Only if you need it

That being said if you're a gamer for the past 10 year and play game daily then gamepass will have nothing you haven't played already and you'll be stuck staring at a store page waiting for an exclusive. The form factor and size is nice, if you get one for $250 during the holidays then thats even better but other than a device that just covers my shelf it gets used once every 3-4 months
