Small console with small storage.

This console is cheaper, smaller, and runs at basically the same frame rate and graphics. I love this thing and it looks amazing both while gaming and while it’s off. The graphics and ray tracing are incredible. Not to mention the insane ssd hard drive. This console is amazing.

So I finally made the decision to upgrade, and so far I have to say that it is holding up well and runs vary good. And I would recommend this.

I like how easy it is to set up and how you don’t need a physical copy of the game to play. It has faster download times then my old Xbox one S as well so it helps making gaming faster when wanting to play. If your looking for an affordable counsel that can play pretty much play any Xbox game then this is the console for you. Only down side is it doesn’t have a lot of storage as you can only download six games before the memory is full. Not having a disc drive might also be a turn off to some as you will need to have it digitally to play. I did however purchase the game drive that goes into the back to give it an extra 1tb and it’s worth every penny.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Box was a little damaged when dropped off, and the video flickers quite frequently on video apps even with the correct video settings, the home button and A button on the controller it came with constantly get stuck and the audio jack makes both of my headsets buzz when chatting online. I honestly preferred my Xbox one x over this, I should have just waited until the series X was available. The positive notes are that downloads, game play and menu response are way faster on the series s and the compact side is a plus.

Still has the occasional freeze, and Microsoft makes it more difficult than necessary to share games within the family, but the new generation games work with no issues, which is why we had to replace our older version. I added the expansion drive to make sure we didnt run out of space, but I have not had to use it yet.

For the price. There aren't any "blow your mind" exclusives yet, but a lot of games look and run better on these new consoles. GamePass is an amazing deal, and definitely shows the value of the console. All in all, $300 is a great price on a next gen console, especially considering you'll have it for almost a decade to come.
