Really great console for the price. Can't even buy a GPU that does 60fps 1440p, let alone one that does ray tracing, for $300. The most "next-gen" feeling feature here is the Quick Resume. Everything else sort of feels like my older Xbox One X. I attribute most of that feeling to the lack of a meaningful dashboard/UI upgrade. I have a PS5 as well, and that had a from the ground up brand new UI. Over all, super great Game Pass machine. Haven't tapped into the RetroArch emulation you can do on this thing with a dev account, but I'll definitely give it a shot. Giving it a 4/5 because it's a great price vs. performance value, but doesn't really carry the weight of a "next-gen console."

Games now a days are two big for the 512 to be reasonable, and with external hard drives being soft locked it means it’s either you can only have a few modern games or you have to go spend another few hundred on an external storage drive. But performance and looks are amazing, very quiet too.

Entire family loves ours. Great for streaming or gaming. Gamepass is 100% worth subscribing to if you're even a little bit into video games. Storage is lacking so keep that in mind.

Great system, as someone who has been looking for a PS5, I decided to switch to looking for a Xbox, and the Series S is a great choice to get if you decide that you still plan to stick with 1080p gaming cause it runs beautifully on 1080p. Storage could be a problem since there's only 350gb of usable space but external storage should be enough. Perfect for the casual gamer.

Purchased on sale for $250, if youre a first timer for gamepass ultimate youll get a heavy discount on your first month and have access to hundreds of games including but not limited to microsoft first party titles including halo, forza, gears and many others. Really the best value in gaming.

Huge improvement in speed and packaging. Only downside is the pricey memory upgrade.

I was looking for a console that would display good quality. Games run smoothly and it doesnt need hardcopys. I am not a heavy gamer so the amount of GB it came with was perfectly fine with me. If you are a heavy gamer and will have alot of games then i would recommend getting the X instead.

I love this Xbox it’s digital so all I have to download the games and play don’t need to go to Best Buy or GameStop to buy games but the only downside to it is the limited amount of space but hard dives are cheap but still a great Xbox for it price
