I like the S. it’s small size allows for easy placement and transportation. Also cool that you can play all the X games from such a small console. I really don’t miss the disk options as I play mostly digital games anyway.

I picked up a PS5 for myself and an Xbox series S for my son, and to be honest (and I’m a Sony guy normally) I’m a bit more impressed with this little console! It’s actually silent whereas the ps5 does have some fan noise, and if you have a model with a disc drive. Playing physical games adds to that noise ... The only place that Sony has Microsoft beat is the controller....Well in some ways... The new Xbox controller is an Improvement from the Xbox one controller, a very minor one, but with making only minor improvements, Microsoft has managed to maintain a battery life that we’ve come to expect. The PS5 Dualsense on the other hand, with its new features such as an internal microphone and adaptive triggers suck the battery about 25% quicker than these depending on what game your playing and how much these features are utilized.. overall there are pros and cons for both consoles.. but my list of cons is a bit shorter for the Xbox Series S than it is for the PS5. Buy it if you get the chance! You won’t regret it!

This system is a great alternative from the series x, the storage could be the only bad thing about it but you can buy a Seagate memory card and that takes care of that problem . Its worth the buy with game pass

Sold my series x when I bought my pc. There still a few titles I’d like to play on my Xbox that weren’t cross platform. I Decided to buy this and was impressed how good it look compared to the series x not that big of difference in my opinion.

Purchased as a gift as an upgrade from an Xbox One to the Xbox Series S. The load times are so much faster and getting to play in 60fps is an adjustment, but it’s well worth it. Only complaint might be that the controller eats batteries, and I’d recommend getting a rechargeable battery if you play a lot.

I love my new Xbox!!! This thing runs soooooo smoothly. Just as a reference, I used to game on a gaming PC with an RTX 2060 SUPER to mainly play Fortnite but honestly I do not really see a difference as far as a gaming experience. That tells you something. It's super quiet and overall an amazing machine!

Didnt think yhe digital would be as good as the X but its pretty good. Not all games are found w the xbox game pass that I'd like to have. I do love that the graphics are brighter. I wish it came w more storage though.

Best Buy was the only store I could find this system at! It’s much more responsive than last-gen consoles, I couldn’t believe the difference in load times and refresh rates. The new controller is awesome and has a ton more grip than the old ones. Overall awesome product and glad Best Buy had one in stock!

After 3 days of use, I turn it on and there’s no signal, called Microsoft and went through troubleshooting.. nothing worked, have to send it back and wait for them to ship a new one. I expected some faulty consoles, just didn’t think I would pull the short straw :,/ from what I was able to play though, Assassins Creed Valhalla looked very sharp on my 1080p tv and the performance was how you would expect! Overall I think the console is worth $299 if you are going to use it for 1080p-1440p gaming with 60hz refresh rate!

I've never owned an Xbox in my life. I always used PlayStation or PC. But I recently started using gamepass on my PC and the games list is phenomenal. While the series x definitely has more power, the series S is more financially viable for people who want to play premium games on a budget.

I didn't expect this thing to do 120 frames. and the upscaling with 360 games is also really well done. also super small so it was easy to put in my entertainemnt area. overall I really love it

bought this for a separate room while i have the series x in the main room. the small storage space is a bummer if you don’t have an external storage drive or the seagate SSD. other than that it handles games pretty much the same as the series x depending on the tv you use

Wow, this thing is smaller than an Xbox One S. I'm very surprised by the size and the capability of this system. Overall it works great and the only downside is that you can't play blue rays or any disc. The Microsoft store does have a lot of affordable content and is worth it considering the price.
