Love my new Xbox S. Husband thought he was getting an upgrade, he has One, but I ended up using this. Only thing is it gets hot, I had to purchase a cooling fan to place underneath.

I'll keep this review short and quick Pros & Cons Pros- -Great for emulation -backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 and XBOX games run at 1440p -Great for media playback -Price is decent for what this does however try to get this console on sale not full price Cons- -Backwards compatibility for xbox one games do not get any benefit aside from unlocked framerate games -Backwards compatibily for xbox one games it runs the xbox one games not the one X games for some odd reason when this console is cleary powerful enough to do so -Games optimized for Series S still run terribly as of this writing -I would only recommend this console for people with 1080p monitors UNLESS ur using it for backwards comp. for 360 and before games then you get the resolution boost to keep it short save ur money for the series X dont give in to this

How they put so much power in this thing is amazing. Althouugh targeted as a 1440p machine some games may play at a dynamic 4k, a game like Outriders plays surprisingly well at 4k/60 frame rates. Worth every$300 which is crazy good value.

Absolutely love my Series S. Got this because I couldn't find a Series X, and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely feels next gen compared to my One X. If you know what you are getting when you buy this it will exceed your expectations.

Great little Xbox, good for computer monitor (up to 1440p) but don't expect 4k gaming. Quick resume, game boot up and start up are fast. If 4k and memory are a factor then step up and get the Series X.

The XBox Series S is exactly what my 14 year old wanted. I did buy an external hard drive to store games, but probably won't need it. The Series X has 1 TB vs. 512 GB, and is designed for a 4K TV, but this is fine for my 7 year old Sony Bravia.

Great affordable console! This is really a gamepass machine, it is well worth every cent of $300! It does 1080p 60hz on most but not all games! A huge upgrade from the xbox one s, not so much a big upgrade from xbox one x!

I bought this console for my wife, so far she loves it! She isnt an avid enough gamer for a pc, and the value seemed much better thab the series X.

Good system that's low priced without dealing with dvds. This feels more next level because you got access to your library of games instantly with a push of a button. As long as Microsoft supports the console, this is 5 stars.

Great step up from a Xbox One S. Boot and load times are extremely fast, literally night and day from previous generation consoles. Highly recommend the series S if you can't get your hands on a series X.

I really wanted s PS5 but I couldn’t mss aaa mage to get one but I was able to get this. I’ve never been an Xbox person but this is surprisingly nice! I will still get a PS5 if I get the chance but I am definitely enjoying this system.

Best valued xbox in the new lineup. All the games work great and it upscaled 4k, which is as good as 4k in my eyes. The only thing of concern is the storage. If you plan to play 10+ games at a time a hard drive is suggested.

Got this with game pass ultimate. Already have a PS5 and wanted a base Xbox to be able to play exclusives as well as their game pass catalogs. Incredibly nice, not near close to the ps5 or series x, but a great base next gen console.

This is the Best Console you can Buy right now... Because its the only one in stock. If you can find a series X get that. but it you just want an upgraded performance this is smaller and way better than the xbox one x
