Excellent piece of kit for a den, office, study or to travel with. SSD and CPU just as fast as the Series X and the compact size is remarkable. Perfect for game pass, 1080/1440p, for traveling or if value is most important.

I love the xbox you don’t even need a pc usually one my one s my game lags butler on the series a it never lags always 100 fps or higher.

Great gaming experience. Only con is the storage on this Xbox. Only 2 games can be played at a time.

WHO THIS IS FOR - * People who want to get in on next gen gaming without breaking the bank. * PS5 owners who want to play Microsoft exclusives or have access to Microsoft game pass. It's a perfect "game pass machine." * People who don't own or don't really care to own, a 4k UHD TV. * People who don't put a priority on having top of the line performance - i.e. non-competitive gamers, kids, etc. * People who don't need physical media for games / entertainment. WHO THIS IS NOT FOR - * Hard core gamers who want to take advantage of all the bells and whistles that the most powerful next-gen consoles have to offer (i.e. Series X & PS5) * People who want to game in full 4k @ 120 hz / 120 fps. The Series S maxes out at 1440p. * People with a large library of Xbox / 360 / Xbox One physical games and / or DVDs. The Series S is digital only. The jury is still out on how future proof the Series S will be once developers start really taking advantage of the Series X's horsepower. But for now, and honestly - I upgraded to a Series X - the differences are negligible.

excellent bang for your bucks but leaves a little to be desired. The 512gb hard drive fills up quick and with the 200$ expansion card price it makes more sense to go with the x for more power and a 1tb hard drive.

Big step up from the Xbox One X version before the Series S/X came out, games run phenomenal and console feels up to date and fluid

My son recently had his Xbox One lay down on him. The series x impossible to find but just happened to check Best Buy and they had 1 of the series S in stock. He came home and began downloading some games(no disc drive). He loves the series S. The only wish he has is that it was a full 1TB instead of 512 GB. That storage space is precious especially with the expanded drive $200+

Bought for my other half. To replace her Xbox One S, It's a massive improvement for a fair price. Though I dislike the smaller base storage that's easily and quickly filled. Along with the fact that expanding that storage is massive cost sink since you can't just get a compatible SSD, you have to buy specifically from Microsoft.

Easy setup, great options, plenty of memory, game disks unnecessary, love it! I decided to choose this system instead of upgrading from my PS4 to PS5 and very pleased with my decision!

I wasn’t looking for the new Xbox, but I’m glad I got this. The system is much faster than my Xbox one and love that all my games are digital. No more switching disks to play different games.

Awesome console to complement a series X or if you have a 1080p tv. In my case.. It functions as a second console on my 1080p tv.. so it’s great! And incredible that you can get the series s at this price point!

YES! There is nothing bad to say about this. It does what it’s supposed to do with fluidity. Very quick to load games and has a decent amount of storage. For this price this is hands down the best console.

First game system at 45, I’m hooked!!! Glad I went with this, so easy and sooooooook many games to choose from!
