I love this console! It has amazing picture and at a great price!

Ordered an "open box - excellent" item, which is supposed to look brand new with no cosmetic flaws. The item delivered had a small gash on the front and black scuff marks on the bottom. When exchanging the item in store I had to pay the difference for the full price of a new one. I received no discount for waiting 4 days just to get a product that didn't match the description/quality promised.

I’m happy I was able to buy the new gen and I rather keep it

Such a powerful machine I bought this for my 6 year old while I have the series X tower but the series S runs amazing and the biggest downfall is the memory but the price difference is favoring the series S just delete games and keep a few in rotation because this machine is extremely powerful n fast and looks beautiful in games im happy with this purchase and I paid more for my Xbox one being 375 after taxes when it first came out and I paid 315 for this beast after taxes. My son loves for the price point you cant beat it

Doesn't seem to be much different than the Xbox One X... Can play the new games now, but visually no difference.

Surprisingly compact and capable little gaming console. I have the Series X which is huge compared to this one but needed something small to take it with me for travel to keep myself and my kids entertained while on a trip and vacation. Since I’m so hooked on playing Diablo 4 and remote play is an issue when internet speed reliability is a requirement, having a direct game access is better suited for my needs. Along with buying this console, i also bought an external monitor. For what it is, it is more than enough to play even the most demanding games. Though the games i usually play are just casual and mostly RPGs and Simulation, this is more than enough for me personally. With that said, you cant beat the price for what it offers. Highly recommended.

Setup was quick, and within minutes I was downloading games from Xbox Game Pass. Performance-wise, the Series S is impressive for its size. Load times are lightning fast, gameplay feels smooth at up to 120 FPS on supported titles, and the compact design fits perfectly in my entertainment setup. As a fully digital console, it’s a perfect match for Game Pass and my mostly digital library. The only drawback is the 512 GB storage, which fills up quickly if you install larger AAA titles. An expansion card or external SSD will likely be my next purchase. Also, while the Series S can upscale to 4K, it’s designed for 1440p gaming—so if you’re chasing pure 4K visuals, the Series X is the better choice. Overall, for the price I paid on a refurbished unit, this is hands-down one of the best values in gaming. Compact, quiet, and powerful enough for most modern games—it’s a great option for casual and even mid-core gamers who want next-gen performance without breaking the bank.

What I like about this concole is that it is small so it can fit any when and its price for 299 is so good. I also like how it has really good graphics on every game and it this concole is the one who loades in everygame the fastest.

I’m new to Xbox family now I’m a PlayStation girls

I've had consoles and PCs for many years but as of recent I had been a PC gamer primarily and found myself growing tired of the trouble shooting, launchers and other overall minor complaints of PC gaming. And found myself looking for a more pick up and play option the xbox series S has filled that role prefectly. An impressive little piece of hardware that runs almost any current gen game I can think of like a dream (while only costing as much as an above average graphics card that you may or may not be able to find in stock.) In conjunction with the surprisingly good value the game pass service provides I have been absolutely pleased with every aspect of the console. The controller being battery charged instead of using an internal rechargeable seems an odd choice but this can easily be remedied with a set of rechargeable double AAs. That is honestly my biggest and only complaint with the console. The unit is almost if not absolutely silent which was a nice change from the air port terminal that was the ps4 I owned a few years ago. I highly suggest if you are looking for a current generation console make this the one you get unless you particularly want the benefits that come from the stronger series X or a PS5 this is absolutely the console for you. It honestly reminds me of owning a PS2 back when they first came out and those vibes are hard to replicate. I'm having fun just playing games on my couch, dropping my jaw at pretty graphics and making friends and catching up with my brother online. So thanks Microsoft you really did good with this one!

I thought this was a new console it’s just an Xbox one

The best value for next gen consoles. Compared to its big brother, the Series X, what you are giving up is a physical disc drive, storage space, and 4K. What you get in return is a savings of $200. As someone who has both I can assure you it performs as well as the series X and PS5. Out of all the consoles I would say to buy the Series X if possible. But who is this intended for? Ultimately the best part of this console is the affordablity and being able to pair it with game pass (the best value in gaming). If you are someone who does not have a 4K monitor and does not intend to get one, this is for you. If you are looking for an affordable option for a kid this is probably your best bet, especially with game pass. Also if you are someone who normally plays on the PS5 (or PS4) only, this is for you. I was caught up in the console war at one time as well, but I assure you you won't regret getting an xbox as well. The value for game pass is too good to pass up anymore and you need a system that is compatible. This could literally just be your game pass machine.

I love the. NExt gen Xbox! It’s so fast,quite. Graphics are fire When I have to turn off a game before work. It loads right where I left off when I come back to it!! Amazing. I had to get the extra memory cause you will need it. Only thing I can make a negative is that and also no disc drive but til the series X gets an more efficient restock! If you can get this get it!!!

What a difference next-gen feels. While I was worried the Series S wouldn't feel next-gen compared to my Xbox One X, I can confirm the differences are well worth the investment. It's still up for debate if the Series S or X is the better bang for your buck, but if you're looking to enter next-gen gaming at entry level cost you can't go wrong with the Series S. The hardware itself is a sleeker, and I would argue more visually appealing than the Series X. Yes it's not as powerful, but if you don't have a larger 4k tv, you'll probably not even notice the graphical difference. Next-gen games are still missing, but with so many previous generation games receiving free X/S updates, it is a blast to play year+ old games at their peak. Examples like Mass Effect Trilogy at 60 fps, or Star Wars The Fallen Order 60 fps are a noticeable improvement. That, along with the significantly faster load times and quick resume feature, make this overall a much better console gaming experience over last gen hardware. For $300 you can't go wrong with this next-gen hardware, make your deal even sweeter and sign up for gamepass, where you can play Microsoft first party games on launch day for no additional cost.

Excellent, though not the best. While this lacks 4k, a disc drive and as much storage, it is by far still a capable device. It is fast and plays every game well, and it’s small size does make it easy to bring with you if you’re going on a trip. If you can’t get the Series X or travel often and want your xbox with you, I’d recommend this.
