Amazing machine for a great price comparatively to the other consoles available. I would recommend this to anyone who is into gaming or looking to get back in after a break. The employees were very helpful and friendly in recommending this console and couldn’t be more happy with my purchase!

Glad to finally be able to use this console. It's a great size, easy to move around. And the graphics are stunning. It runs really smooth and fast, and it's a great quality device.

I love this console. It’s quick and runs great graphics. Just be prepared to buy an extra storage card sometime in the next year or so as the 512 gb goes quickly with big game like call of duty or assassins creed. As long as you don’t mind no disc reader and slightly less graphics and capabilities of the series x this console is great.

An upgrade into the IoT world. Faster, smaller, sleeker and an overall better value than previous versions. Performance is awesome, flexibility is high and specs at price point are impressive.

The Xbox Series S does exactly what advertises. You get a solid "next gen" experience for a budget price. OS and feature-wise, you're getting a similar experience to the Xbox Series X. I feel it best to really break things down via a Pros and Cons list: Pros: - Cheapest entry point into next-gen - It's small! So much so that it makes the PS5 and Series X look like monsters Cons: - Only 512Gb of storage, with a little over 300Gb available after you take the OS into consideration -- There's an additional 1Tb storage card you can buy, but at $200 it makes the Series S as expensive as just buying the Series X - Backwards compatible games play in Xbox One mode, not Xbox One X enhanced - Most "next-gen" games play at 1080p, the console upscales them to 4K but it's nowhere near as "clean" as the Series X Personally, I would recommend this as a console for someone who just wants to play Game Pass and/or Microsoft's exclusive games. If you're looking for a console for a younger kid, this could also be a great companion. If you're an adult that would prefer a Series X or PS5, wait until they're available. The Series S makes too many compromises.

Great, compact and powerful. What else could you ask for? May not have 4K but it does the job and looks Amazing! If you’re a casual gamer with only digital games, this is the console for you.

Great machine ... speed, crisp graphics, super sound. My only complaint is with Microsoft. I have a number of disc based XBOX One and 360 games that are compatible with the Series S however I have to rebuy them; there should be a disc trade in program ... I'd even be ok paying a nominal $5 trade in fee

The Xbox series s this console was cheaper than buying Its big brother the x. The graphics may be a little bit lower, but you still get the same enjoyment as you was on the big powerhouse one. Storage was a little disappointment but I bought some extra storage.

I purchased this for traveling (I have a Series X at home). I have been very pleasantly surprised with the performance, I don't notice much of a difference compared to the X. If you are on a budget and lean towards downloads anyways, I would highly recommend this model. Only thing I would do differently is purchasing the newer model with more storage...probably worth the price difference.

Great for traveling, amazing at 1440 or 1080. I got this for when I travel its smaller and lighter than my gaming Razer 15. I does great when I'm at the hotel and they only have 1080p TV. its small and light and you only need to bring the power cable, hdmi and a controller and your set. seems like my gaming computer is on par on graphics as well. If yo want a compact gaming console to travel with you for yourself or your kids this is the one to get and at the same time if you dont want to game and just watch streaming services this works to. I think the price is a bit high at 300 but at 250 which I feel it will be next year around the holidays it will come down in price.

What can I say, next gen consoles are where it’s at. I don’t own a 4K tv or monitor yet so I’m literally losing out on nothing with series s over the x except some storage space. Which would be my only complaint about this system, the hard drive is a bit small, and games like COD and Destiny 2 eat it up real quick. Still get the blazing fast load times and 60 FPS that series x offers though, which is really what I want. Love the Xbox ecosystem and operating system vs their rivals. Xbox game pass is a game changer, it’s a tad pricey for the service, but worth every penny will not go back to a console without it.

This is a great gaming console. I like it better than the playstation. Xbox game pass subscription makes a great addition. Plenty of great games for everyone out there. Backward compatibility is the best. The only gripe is not enough onboard storage. In addition an option for physical game disks would be nice. However you can use external storage for older generation games, such as an external hard-drive. However Microsoft's proprietary expansion card is required for next generation games. Overall great value.

Great console for the price. Can’t store too many games on the console itself due to the hard drive size but still a great console with great graphics.

The series S is a great console for the price. I bought from Best Buy open box for under $200 and it looks and works as brand new. It’s a small console and looks very nice and subtle. Plays most games In 60fps.

Let me start off by saying this is the best $300 i ever spent, and the price to performance ratio is insane. This console is so important to have in these times of inflation, insanely high pc parts, and hard to get PS5/Series x consoles (although the series x is easier to get than the ps5 now). However i noticed some unrealistic expectations people have for this console. The series s was always marketed as a budget lower spec'd next-gen console that is a 1440p machine which is half-lie,and half-truth. It's only a 1440p machine if you play at quality mode 30fps but for people that want 60fps it is very much a 1080p machine. The downside, though, is that you’ve only got a woefully small 364GB of usable space to install games and apps on, and that can go quick. I was at 96% capacity with a total of eight games – five beefy blockbusters and three smaller indie games. That’s even with Microsoft’s Smart Delivery system that lets developers tailor their games specifically to the Series S. Gears 5, for instance, is only 55.1gb compared to 71.9gb on the Series X because the S doesn’t need the full 4K textures. My simple kind of fix for that is the BRILLIANT cloud gaming feature!! Although some games may require a faster internet speed speed.
