Much better than the Series X for sub-4K gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I downgraded from the Series X because it was overkill for my 1440, 60Hz monitor. Also didn’t have much use for disk drive since I only play on Game Pass. I was very pleased with the size of the Series S. It is relatively so much more portable and a pleasure to haul on a trip or to another room in the house. It is ultra quiet and runs cool. The long-overdue solid state drives virtually eliminate load times. Very pleased with this purchase. If you don’t need the disc drive or 4K, go with this instead.

BEST XBOX EVER!!!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it! I've been a gamer over 20 years and this is an AMAZING system! . . . The only draw back is that unless you buy the Seagate Expansion Pack you CANNOT download or really even play any games, I am happy to say that on December 15th I will FINALLY be able to get the 1TB memory card from Seagate so I can FINALLY play games, YAY!!!

Nice upgrade, good performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performance has been good, I do not like this controller much especially compared to the default PS5 controller. I don't want to purchase the premium controller due to the cost. The rest of the console is great, and I love how small it is. The speed of loading is good...

Affordable and powerful console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value at the lower price. Powerful enough to run most Xbox games at 1080p smoothly. Slim design fits in tight space. Great gaming product!

Great performance and value!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this while I waited out the strangle hold scammers and Microsoft had on the availability of the Series X. By the time I write this review, I have finally purchased the X and have been highly unimpressed with the X and the lag/glitchy performance of my X. My Series S performed exceptionally better then my X does and for the value, the S is highly superior especially due to the manipulation of the availability of the X and price at which most owners have been forced to pay to get the X.

5 stars for me!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this Xbox about 1 month ago and I’m loving it. I didn’t think it would have such a great performance at just $300 but it’s amazing. I must say that I recommend getting an external har drive to add on to the storage just because 564 gigabytes just isn’t enough in my opinion, and since you are getting this at such a great price it’s honestly worth it. If you don’t, you might see some decrease in performance and maybe some lag due to less frames. All in all this console is great and I 100% would recommend it to anyone.

S over X
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox Series S performs exactly how it should for $300. Games play just as good as my Series X and will be very good for entry level gamers.

A dark horse Beast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my son after getting the Series X in December. With the new updates that are coming out for this baby, don’t sleep on it. If you can find it for now instead of the series, pick it up for a try next gen experience. Fast loading times, quick resume and game pass! The only thing I would say is the memory obviously isn’t up to where it should be but it is upgradeable. Don’t let that stop your from feeling what next gen is really about!

Small but packs a punch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sereis s is a big step up from last gen. The graphics are comparable to and Xbox One X but load times are considerably faster than last gen.

Why you should get a Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series S is a compelling choice for gamers seeking an immersive and affordable gaming experience. Its compact design and lower price point make it an attractive option for both casual and dedicated gamers. Despite being the more budget-friendly version of the Xbox Series X, the Series S delivers impressive performance with its custom SSD and powerful GPU.

XBOX Digital
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very sufficient and much more affordable price than the other popular gaming systems. I find the quality, image, and speed to be a step up from my PS4, im very happy with the quality, until I am able to get my hands on a better system this one will definitely last. Only downfall these downloads take up so much available storage im having to uninstall alot.

Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great upgrade option from the standard xbox, does 1440p and games load a lot faster.. plus the quick resume is such a nice feature, also very reliable hardware wise.. only flaw is that the storage space is not that great so id highly recommend the seagate expansion 1tb if you plan to have multiple games downloaded at once

Series S for the win
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For 300 you can not do better than this. No need for more expensive items - this thing works great and smooth for everything. Some remarks: if you have huge 4K oled TV - this is not for you and rather go for Series X. There are some games ported from One S - they look terrible graphic wise when Series X enjoys graphics from One X ported games. But there is no difference between this and more expensive model if you use 2K or 1080P monitor.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what it's meant to! Awesome price for what it can do. Digital only! Definitely recommend gamepass subscription (about 15 dollars/ month like a Netflix subscription) along with this as it'll benefit from that the most. Memory is an issue but just give it a year or so to solve that seeing as A) this is literally the first year of next gen gaming (current gen now) and B) it happened during a global pandemic. So for what it's doing during this time this is definitely a must for this holiday, it is very affordable

Budget Friendly Console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Normally, I don’t pay attention to Xbox consoles, but as a long time PlayStation user, I can confidently endorse this console. It’s incredibly small, just barely the size of a book, and it runs amazingly smooth, haven’t had any performance issues yet! This console is perfect for someone who wants a new console on a budget!

DEFINITE BUY!! WOULD BUY AGAIN!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.120FPS AND 120hz refresh rate!!! FINALLY KEEPING UP WITH PC PLAYERS IN PC LOBBIES!! All of the games feel super smooth and fast! The Xbox series s also has ray tracing for games like Call of duty Cold War wth at make the graphics really stand out when that option is enabled! My only issue is the storage space because I play A LOT of games so I would definitely recommend an external seagate storage drive or wait for the new SSD price to drop!
