Love it, love the size, performance is great. Yes the HDD size is small but it's good enough for my games that I play.

Great console just as good as the bigger X so long as you don’t mind not having a disc drive. Only gripe is internal storage, you can plug in any third party hard drive and use it for storage though newer games will have to be transferred onto the local storage of the console before playing.

Real small compared to the Xbox Series X which is great. Seems to run hotter than the other. Great gaming device

I'm very happy with the series S. Great graphics and quick load times at an affordable price. The only downside would be that it only has 500 gigs of internal storage. You'll definitely have to buy an ssd down the road.

I love this Xbox! I didn't want the series x, only because I wasn't going to game at 4k, but if you are, I would go for that Xbox. If you aren't this Xbox is just as powerful, and it works amazing. It isn't even loud, and I can play all the new games on it. Also, only downside is the storage, I would for sure get an external storage just in case you have a lot of big games.

I also own a PS5 and compared to that it’s not quite up to the challenge. That said, it has some things that it does well. Load times are great, and it has a built in web browser as well, (the ps5 does not) which was helpful setting up new internet! It concerns me that it runs so hot too. Not sure if it’s normal, but it’s still pretty quiet. The biggest downside is the controller. The stock controllers are trash, so I bought the Power A fusion pro as well. It completes the system for sure. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and the gameplay has been good for all the games I’ve played. Paired with game pass ultimate, it’s a good buy!

I'd been looking to upgrade to a next gen console for a while, so I was very excited when BestBuy had these in stock. The system runs very well and cuts loading times in half, even on games with infamously long load times (e.g. Fallout 4, Skyrim). The controller feels nice in hand and the visuals are also very improved from the Xbox One. I was also very surprised by how small and compact the console was (about 2/3 the size of the Xbox One X).

I really enjoy the upgrade from an Xbox one S to an Xbox series S so much faster and so much more crisp with graphics. Currently playing NBA 2k22, Fortnite, and GTA5(loads so fast it’s amazing). I feel like multiplayer is much smoother then before on the the “one S” the “series S” is a definite upgrade for sure and I definitely recommend taking the leap and getting one you’ll be glad you did!

Love that this system is so small and so quiet it packs a punch and it does 1080p and 1440p flawless also if you own a 4k tv will convert to match your tv resolution some games can do ray tracing and will do quick resume like its bigger brother xbox series x well worth the effort to buy this as it does not use discs love it without having to hoard discs.

This is better than I expected. I have a Series X already, but bought this for my son. The size is smaller than I thought it would be. Being all digital is not an issue anymore with Game Pass. The price is good. This is a good alternative to the Series X if you don't care about some of the more "pro" features the X offers or if you already have a Series X and want something for a second room.

    Affordable Console Gaming

Very affordable way to get into current gen console gaming. I love the console's look and how compact it is. Only real draw back (and it's a big one) is the lack of internal memory. 512 gigs just isn't enough for modern games. Especially considering that Series X/S games can only run on SSD so even an external HDD doesn't help much here and an SSD expansion is almost as much as the console itself, might as well get a Series X at that point. But if you're not as an intense user this might be the right choice for you.

I own both Series X and now S . Honestly besides 1tb storage and the disk drive its the only big difference between both consoles. You can use a standard HDD to put your old games but I recommend putting XSX/S games in the internal hard drive or buy the SDD hard drive. It’s half maybe even smaller than the XSX and really great for travel as well. I recommend this console to who’s not quite ready for next gen (Example : if you don’t own a 4K tv 120hz with hdmi 2.1)

It was the only way to get next Gen hardware without paying for scalper prices. The console loads games really fast. Faster than my PC sometimes. The only drawback is the drive space. It comes with 512 GB, but you really end up with 300ish because of the OS. I ended up biting the bullet and got the 1 TB expansion drive. It’s a good console, I recommend it to anyone wanting to get into next gen consoles or an Xbox fan

This is a great little system. I’m currently playing Halo Infinite and it looks great. It is capable at only $300 but I will be also buying an Series-X when I can get my hands on one. I have an over powered pc that I have become accustomed to, so the Series-S doesn’t give me the same impact on my monitors (maybe the series-X will be a better performer). All in all, I have no real complaints. For the money, it’s worth it.

At first I was hesitant to buy this because of there being a slower gpu than the Xbox series X and didn’t know if I should wait until the Xbox series X was easily purchasable, anyways I bought it and I’m so glad I did. This console is amazing and I saved so much money! It’s way better than the previous consoles and pretty much the same price! I’m so glad I bought this!

My brother's Xbox One was starting to SCREAM every time he turned it on. While I know he would have preferred the series X, this one was a bargain, and he absolutely loves it. He's now able to run multiple challenge runs in different games at once and with the new Streamlabs features Xbox is adding he can stream well too. If you don't have a UHD screen, then there's no need to look elswhere, this thing is amazing.

This console is awesome!! Everything run smooth, not issues at all!! I wish I got a bigger storage size, but we are balling on a budget, but I am going to purchase a storage upgrade. I switched from a playstation to an xbox and like this so much better. The controller layout is way better than the PS4 controller.

The Series S is an incredible console for the price. In a world where similar performing gaming PC's can cost up to thousands, getting this punchy little machine for only $300 dollars is mind-blowing. Everything the machine cuts out compared to the Series X, are only things that would improve quality of life. If you don't care about getting that 4K 120 FPS gaming experience, or don't mind uninstalling and downloading games constantly, then yes, the Series S is 100% practical, and well worth the investment. Especially if you are considering investing into other devices like the PS5, or are just strapped for cash. I personally wish there was more storage. If the Seagate expansion card wasn't so expensive, I would give this device 5 stars for sure.
