Xbox series S
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic console with great performance. I would recommend this console to anyone who does not already have a gaming console. It is the best bang for buck. If you have kids under 10, probably go with a switch. If you game a lot, probably pick up an external hard drive.

A Compact Marvel for Gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series S has exceeded my expectations. Its compact size belies its powerful performance, delivering seamless gameplay and rapid loading. The Game Pass is a treasure trove of diverse titles. Although limited to 1440p, its affordability and gaming experience earn it a resounding 5 stars.

Great size, quick to boot and textured controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs great and is a more manageable size than past Xbox models. Ended up purchasing more memory, but the plug-and-play functionality for after market drives is seemless. Textured triggers on the controller feel great, too. Looks awesome on newer model, 4K-supported TVs.

Fits my needs
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a hardcore gamer, just needed something to play basic games like EA FC or Call of Duty and this gets the job done. I enjoy the portability of it as well since it is significantly smaller than my old Xbox One; also, not having a bulky power box is really enjoyable.

Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Series S. How can you complain with next gen graphics, framerate and loading times for 299? Its perfect for my second T.V. or kids room where we don't use 4k. You'll want to get game pass! Remember it doesn't take disks and buying digital games isn't the best deal. I will take this console with me when I travel. It's so small and fits easy in a backpack. Much easier than putting my Ps4 in a carryon or checked luggage and worrying about it getting damaged.

Great console
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great console. Once it was updated it was super easy to sign in and transfer all my setting from the old one to the new one. Graphics are great triple digit framerate in some games, and 70+ framerate 4k in other games, I have a 4k 60 Hz tv. If you don't have a 120hz 4k tv/monitor. This is the purchase for you.

Xbox is worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: This Xbox is quite nice when it comes to size. Fits well in my entertainment center. It’s great on sound, not too loud and doesn’t seem to overheat much. Especially with having a decent sized fan on the top for ventilation. It connects well with any new or even older television and sound system. Cons: Still not enough space offered. With being digital there is a constant need to manage or limit games and downloadable content. Also might be good to offer additional colors. Ex: space gray, etc..

Why the Series S works for me
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that there is nothing wrong with the Series S at its price point. The value and power you get for the price far outweighs the console's shortcomings vs the Series X. Here is why this console works for me: -I already own a PS5 so I have access to some of the most beautiful 4k games out there right now. -I don't own a high-end 4K TV. I've got a 43" TCL and 50" Samsung that only run at 60hz, and I play from my couch or bed. Forza on the Series S looks 4K (I do know it's upscaled 4K on the Series S) on a 43" TV sitting that far away. Also, I sometimes game on a 1080p monitor. -I've never owned an Xbox before and didn't want to justify the extra $200 when I already have a PS5. -I don't care for discs. I have the PS5 Digital Edition so I am fully digital already. This all being said, I would have bought the Series X for sure if I didn't own a PS5 and had a high-end, large 4K TV. Being someone who has an eye for HD, I wouldn't be able to handle the 4 teraflops of the Series S. Overall, I don't regret my decision. The Series S is an extremely capable machine that still renders beautiful graphics and boasts a lot of power. The world of Xbox is amazing and with Game Pass, it's unstoppably amazing. I've put many more hours into playing this in the first week than I ever did with my PS5. That's not saying the games on PS5 are worse, but having Game Pass gives me access to hundreds of good games that me and my family play.

Great Value and awesome system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long review for some context. I was able to get an Xbox Series X on release day as an upgrade for my Xbox One which is played on a 4K television. My Xbox One was moved to the living room(55” 1080 tv) to replace the blu-ray player and slow fire stick to become the family streaming device with the added bonus of gaming. I got the Series S to replace the living room Xbox one. At first I was annoyed at myself for not taking into consideration the lack of disc drive since it was replacing what I used as a Blu-ray player. The vast majority of our entertainment is done by streaming and only played Blu-ray’s maybe 3-4 times a year. Fair trade off I think. I also predominantly rely on the Xbox Gamepass so the lack of disk drive is even less of an issue. There is quality difference in terms of resolution but you should know what you’re getting before committing to a console. This is on a 1080 tv the better console wouldn’t actually show their power anyway so might as well keep it cheap. The hard drive space could be an issue but my series X and the expansion card I can use on this as well offset that. The size of this thing really is compact, maybe too much so that it doesn’t fill out the space in my entertainment center like the xb1 did, but I guess it could fit just about anywhere without being too cumbersome. All in all this is a great version of the Xbox Series. If you’re a die hard who needs the best, this is definitely not for you. But if you play casually and okay with 1080 gaming, it’s well worth the money. Or if you’re like me and use it to compliment the stronger system that is somewhere else in the house.

No complaints, great budget friendly console
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no complaints about this gaming console other than the small memory capacity but that was expected upon purchase...and nothing that an external hard drive can't fix! The smoothness, quickness and graphics are all a step-up from our last xbox console. For the price... you really can't go wrong!
