Amazing new gen consle that loads fast and works just as fast. Very small and convenient while doing everything the bigger series X does!

Couple reasons why you would want the high end one, but for me this was perfect. First off I am over having discs and honestly over buying games. So I got this for the sole purpose of using the Gamer Pass subscription with this. Perfect for that plus it's a rather small console compared to previous generations. If you don't care about discs, I would definitely recommend getting this.

I wanted to not like this system. I thought it needs more storage and an optical drive. Then it was in sale for Christmas. They got me. It was an excellent price. After setting it up, I really enjoyed the system. For the price, I forgot the limitations the system has (for now). Im very happy with this. Glad I made the purchase

Cheap and works really well. The series x is definitely better but for the price this one’s hard to beat. New gen and can run any game.

Great little console but needs to improve its memory space issue. It fits anywhere and convenient for travel.

These new consoles are still so hard to find from reputable retailers. I just got lucky one late night checking my emails. One from Best Buy, checked for the series S it was available to order didn’t hesitate. Took about ten days to arrive but now that I have it I’m very happy with this little powerhouse. Quick resume, fast loading and smooth frame rates it’s all true, and it is so small you have to see it to believe it.

I was skeptical about this little system, but it really good. Not having a disc drive is the only downside, but we game pass I only download 1 or 2 games at a time and then delete them after I beat them and download a new one. With the availability issues of both the series X and PS5, along with the price point of $299, this is a solid choice for anyone looking to get a next gen system.

The series S is a definite step up from the original Xbox one/one S but if you are coming from the one X just wait until the Series X is more available. The speed upgrade is insane but there aren’t many series S/X games out yet to take advantage of the upgrade. If you buy one of these make sure you have an external hard drive ready to go because I fit 10 games and it was full. Also Game Pass is the best service out for 15 a month.

Got two of these for both my son's but they didn’t really want this version. It was series x that was desired and with all the scalpers buying up the x’s I had to get this for them to have something new. All in all tho they really like it the speed, load times are good and the games that they already have play a lot better. Later on when X’s are more in wild might trade in for X for more power tho but this is a great buy.

If you’re looking to try out the new games that recently dropped or looking forward to the new ones but they’re only for next generation consoles, the Series S is pretty good purchase. Especially if 4K resolution isn’t a necessary and all you wanted to do is game, get it. It’s compact and small compare to the other new consoles. The storage size is decent for starters but you’ll eventually purchase more storage in future if you plan to play more games. Love the minimalistic design and the controller feels great. Setback is just the bettery requirements but you’ll find good accessories to help you with that besides constantly buying AA batteries. I recommend this to anyone who is a gamer with a budget or who causally games.

Really wanted the Series X but could not find one. Actually I am satisfied with this Console, its a little power house! Got it connected to a gaming monitor and loading speeds and performance is top notch. I really dont care about 4k or 8k gaming but the performance on this console makes playing games enjoyable. So far I am happy with the Series S and its my secondary console for competitive gaming. Still have my xbox one x on my 4k HDR 75 inch TV so I dont see a reason to upgrade to Series X for time being. Only con for Series S is the lack of interal storage space. But overall happy! One more thing the new Xbox series controlers will get stick drift after a few months had to buy a third party controller.

Got a trade in offer for my Xbox box one which was nice. Well worth the upgrade honestly . Whole new gaming experience frfr. Graphic and all. Just really either get the bigger Xbox or invest in a external terabyte. Other than that solid system nicely priced.

Coming out of the PS4/Xbox One generation, I had initially resolved to not pick up Microsoft's newest console. However, the availability of backwards compatibility on Xbox, as the lower price point of the Series S, eventually persuaded me to pick this up as a desktop console. For my purposes, this console is perfect. PlayStation will continue to be my primary console, but I am glad I got the Series S.

This new Series S exceeded my expectations about its performance, etc. I'm coming from a One S and it's night and day difference. I love that it looks good, it loads games almost instantaneously with "Quick Resume" and the experience from better graphics, load times and smoothness is worth more than the $299 price. I'm quite pleased with my purchase. I do feel to constraint with its measly storage but I get around that.

Everyone says that this is not a good buy but I disagree. I love my series S. With series X so hard to come but I could myself getting this and boy was I surprised by how well this thing is. Not as powerful as the X but it packs a punch. Great for anyone who has game pass and likes to buy digital games the one knock on it is the storage I think Xbox could have done a better job in that department.
