So worth the 300 dollar price tag!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Xbox is perfect and doesn’t take up too much space it runs so well for its small size and it being digital minimizes the clutter with disks and more it is so convenient having all my games in my library rather than taking up space around the house.

The beast we didn’t deserve
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that I got a Series X first and I LOVE IT so I wanted to have a secondary console so that I didn’t have to be moving or transporting my Series X around wherever I wanted to play. So I thought to check out the Series S to see what it had to offer. All I can say is WOW! I love my Series S, same gaming experience, but in a more portal form factor. I would say I play more on my Series S now because it continues to blow me away in terms of what it is capable of producing out of the “budget console”. On paper I’d say the Series S is between a ps4 pro and Xbox one x, but what Microsoft did to maximize its capabilities to give you that next gen experience, was a job well done! If you were on the fence about this, don’t be! This console is worth every dollar. Keep in mind that not all games will look as crisp as on the Series X BUT this little box still can produce 4K at 30fps which is still enough for titles but you lower the resolution to get more FPS in more fast paced titles and the picture still looks good. Also the 4K up scaling I’d say is very good, maybe not the best but remember this console came out less than a year ago and improvements will only make this more of a sleeper beast with time. GET IT

Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it it’s easy to operate, the graphics are amazing. I was worried when it didn’t have a disc about her losing memory but it’s so easy to save the games to your library and then switch them around. Awesome game system.

Great for casual gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small, compact, and great performance for someone looking who plays casually when theyre bored or coming home from working all day. I work 5-6 days a week and I usually come home and try to unwind and throw on a show or listen to some music or play a quick game with friends or family

Best bang for buck console.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic little console. Great for the casual gamer or if you wanna have a nice portable system. I have an xbox series X and I bought the S to keep at my parents house for when the kids and I visit. There are tons of titles on gamepass and lots of free to play titles as well to keep them entertained. It runs really well and is great if you dont care about things like framerate and resolution. its a solid 1080p experience. I would rate it 5/5 if it had a disc drive as there are tons of cheap xbox one/xbox 360 games on the used market I would like to buy but cant due to an all digital platform.

The S is Better Than the X.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had both a Series S and X. The S is a much better Value. Sure the X has 4k and a blue ray player. But that's all it has going for it. I have not played a game that has pushed the X and 2 years later still have not found anything to justify me selling my S for the X. Also the S is so much easier to take with you places along with costing you less on your electric bill. Thing is also super quiet.

Great console for a great price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome console for gaming, really enjoy how small it is. I travel quite a bit and its so easy to slip this in my backpack and just go from place to place and always have a powerful console to play on. Great price too, i got this for 220 and dont regret it one bit.

Simple to Set-Up and Good Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My tech abilities are probably a bit above average (although a long ways from being Geek Squad stuff), but this is still easy to set-up and use even if you have only average tech ability and can use YouTube. It's also actually available and appears to be a good value proposition as long as you know what your getting.

Review
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series S is a decent gaming system. While it offers good performance and access to a variety of games, its limited storage capacity can be frustrating. The absence of a disc drive may also disappoint some users. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option for casual gamers but has its limitations.

Best Next Gen Console
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty good, compact and silent. I was mostly digital on my playstation 4 pro. Best next gen console, and I say that because it’s accessible unlike the ps5 and xbox series x. It opens your gaming world up to next gen and the best load times i have seen. Can’t complain, and it’s a budget console. I highly recommend this project

Upgraded and satisfied!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the Xbox one, I love it so much the difference in speed is incredible and I love all the little updates they made for the new system. Only thing is that the storage it comes with is okay but buying more storage is very expensive. Wish I knew I’d have to spend 150+ for a terabyte of ssd storage. All in all really happy but just remember you’re definitely gonna want extra storage.

Xbox A+++++
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox is hands down the best gaming console to ever hit the market. The graphics of the Xbox are breath taking. You can see fine details and shadows and contrasts like never before on PlayStation products. The system is so FAST also! No long waits for a game to load up. The new controller is fantastic and really feels extremely high quality in the hands.

Surprised and Impressed.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The truth is this little fellow is a powerhouse. Of course I wanted an XSX but when a XSS came up on Bestbuy I jumped on it because I could and sorta on a whim but found it to have been a great decision. The XSS plays games so beautifully I was almost brought to tears of joy, really. I'm disabled and gaming is one the things that I love and get to do a lot so getting the XSS has been a big quality of life upgrade for me. Games play and look awesome especially older games. No more lagging around with long long load times, 5s fast travel in Fallout 76 when my XBX took mins. Now I have a One X and the XSS now and boy is it a jump up even though not as much visually being both do 4K for some games but it's more of how well it runs. The OneX was a fine machine the XSS out shines it in everything, gameplay and visually(mostly). Great gamepass machine here, buy this for the kids no worries. If games old and new play this well on the XSS I'm definitely picking up the XSX. I may have bought this impulsively but no regrets, my XSS will definitely get me by until a XSX comes around and my wife will get my XSS in all its gloy. I highly recommend buying this beautiful little machine for yourself or any gamer in your life.

Great Xbox for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My kids wanted a new model xbox as we only had the Nintendo Switch. Instead of going for the more expensive Xbox X series, I went for the modest S series and saved $200. They love it and of course, you don't really notice the differences between the 2 for casual gaming. ONLY problem I have with it is storage space. This only comes with 512 gigs of memory while the larger X series come with double that. Trust me, if your kids (or you) like Call of Duty, the new one takes up 200gigs plus alone!! Once you get a few more games on there, which are normally 50-100gigs each, your storage is full. Now, they do offer a proprietry external hard drive for it, but its $200+ which means you are better off buying the bigger Xbox X. You can however use ANY external USB hard drive, just be aware it could cause slower loading times. Thats what we ended up doing with an old 1 TB Western Digital drive I had lying around and its been great. Also, make sure you get the 2 years Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if you have a PC. That way you can play all these great games on your PC or in your web browser or tablet/laptop via Microsoft's new cloud gaming service which is included.
