Great little console for the price. For 299 you get a lot of game. This is a hard to beat console for the price. The only thing would be the storage. It’s half the storage as the series x but for my personal use I have not had a problem with it. If anyone else does you can purchase extra storage for it.

There are deals going around from time to time for this XBOX S series. It is quite a cool one even compared with the mighty black edition. Easy to connect and easy to operate. 512 GB should be enough fir most games but there is also a 1TB version available. S series are pretty affordable and worth buying.

Unless you’re planning on buying a new TV in the next 2 years as well as the series X, this console packs a punch. It runs brilliantly compared to the day one Xbox One. Worth the savings and digital only aspect for someone on a budget. This will upscale to 4K and looks wonderful but only on a true 4K TV or monitor.

Honestly, was looking for the series X and settled with the series s due to availability. I don’t regret my purchase one but. Sure memory is only 500gb but getting a terabyte card is easy and cheap and this Xbox is worth every penny. High speed, great loading times, and beautiful pictures

It works great. No issues with any game so far. I don't have a $2,000 latest tech 65 inch big screen, but it looks great on my 55 inch Samsung. Loads fast, runs fast. I have game pass, so I'm not too worried about storage, but I'd like to see more storage options soon. Reasonably priced storage options. The only downside is the learning curve on some of the navigation and on how to play coop games. It's not obvious how to do splitscreen on fortnite or rocket league for example. I had to search on the internet to figure it out. Haven't had a console since the original xbox, however. My kids are young, still a few years from being teenagers, so they really don't care we didn't get the series x. They just want to play some games! Me too! Your kids probably won't care either. If they do... start teaching more humility! Ha! With game pass and 3 people in my house playing it....i might buy the series x next year to keep us from arguing over who gets to play what and when! Not disappointed with this purchase. I would do again.

It's a good system and delivers as promised but upgrading from an Xbox One X didn't really change my gaming experience that much. Don't get me wrong the graphics are awesome and some of my digital games get a nice boost but playing on a 4K tv I'm not really seeing a huge difference from my Xbox One X. I think if I had upgraded from the Original Xbox One this would have been more worth the purchase. I gave it 4 stars because the storage is garbage! especially for Tripple A title games. Also, I'm not a big fan of the priraratory expansion.

      Hey there,

Thanks for sharing your experience and feedback on your new Xbox Series S. If you need more storage and don't want to invest in the Seagate Storage Expansion Card, you can also connect a standard external hard drive. While you can't play games enhanced for Xbox Series X/S from an external hard drive, you can play Xbox games that have not been enhanced. For a full list of optimized games, please go here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/optimized

      Hope that helps,

Excellent in between next gen console, i don't play a lot so this works great for me and saved me over 200 dollars. So far the graphics are really good and the quick resume is very nice to have. Only small drawback would be the low storage space but you can always get an external hard drive to fix the problem.

Xbox S is amazing at $300. I have bought all my games digitally since xbox 360 so I don't really have a use for a drive anyway. I plan on getting a nice 1440 monitor for my pc so this will work great with it. I don't plan on splurging for a 4k monitor or tv anytime soon but if I ever do, that's when I'll get an x.

Replaced my Xbox one S with this bad boy. The Series S is awesome in comparison to the one S. Much faster load times, smoother frame rates and better graphics. I also have a series X for my teenage sons and the series S is still impressive. Its no Series x in terms of raw power but is way better than xbox one.

Good console. Have been out of gaming for a awhile. So this was a great introduction back into gaming. Downside is it has limited storage. However you can get more stroage by getting a external hardrive. Overall it is a good buy.

Highly impressed by this little machine. Picked it up as a bedroom system and it's small, sleak, light and packs a punch for 1080p gaming. Excellent machine for running digital backwords compatible titles while the Series X in the living room handles the 4K next-gen (current-gen?) Titles with ease.

Love it. Small, affordable, and fun. I rarely play video games but I have a few favorite so I thought the series S would be amazing for someone like me who doesn’t play often, but still loves certain games. I was correct. Recommend to me by a friend, and I recommended it to other friends.

The value of the XBOX series S is unbelievable, especially when combined with GAME PASS. Powerful enough to run this generation of gaming with no problems. And what’s even more surprising is, how the XBOX series S can run CIRCLES around the PS5 ☝️. Simply stunning! Happy Gaming Everyone.

Honestly, it’s exactly what it says on the box. If you aren’t super into gaming, or if you want to game on a budget, the Series S is the best way to go. Get Game Pass Ultimate, and start drifting into paying some awesome games and Xbox exclusives! Two things to know before you buy though, you will need additional storage. That game storage can get a little bit tight after you’ve been playing for a while. You won’t need it right away, but give it a couple of months and look into some expansion cards for your Series S. Also look into chargeable battery packs. Besides that, if you are looking for cheaper but still awesome gaming, Series S is the way to go. If you do have that additional funds to spend out, weigh you options and look at one of the nex Gen disc consoles (Series X or PS5).
