Got this for my kiddo, they love it! We got the game pass to get access to the library and this thing is like a mini arcade now. So many games to choose from that are free and it fast, graphics are pretty good, the only draw back is the hard drive size, can burn through the drive pretty quickly.

The series s is a very good system.. System operates very quietly and the graphics are superb. I am currently playing flight simulator and Mlb the show and both games look fantastic. Only draw back would be the ssd being 512 gb but to me it's a non issue because I'll only actually play a couple of games at a times in a month or two......

I love it. Except for one thing. Hard drive sucks. No space. I own 30 games digitally and only 4 fit on it with three people having different tastes. The expansion card cost almost as much as the game. Very disappointed about such a small fix that Microsoft decided to nickel and dime their customers for. Just once I want to see a company “do the right thing”. Just once. There wouldn’t be any money list. Instead of spending money on expansion I would spend it on games. Now I won’t buy the expansion or the games. “Do the right thing” and you’ll still make major money.

Great console at a great price, not 4k but still has better fps.

Wasn’t expecting the size and weight to be vastly different from last console. Especially considering the price difference. Would have been nice to have paper work saying that the ultimate edition was preloaded onto the console though. Set up other than that part was a breeze. Only two issues I have is not being aware of the up mark on the bundle until first billing cycle. It worked out and the correct price was finally settled. The second issue was the bundle extra, email said it would come at a later date now that it was already loaded.

Affordable console if you don’t have enough to buy the base model

Amazing console, runs games at fast frames at great speeds/connections. 10/10 would recommend

Great machine for the price. Great graphics and game load times are quick as advertised. However, make sure your TV is a true 4k and check for updates on it. The frame rates are resource intense. If you’re a disc player, you’ll either repurchase your titles or start fresh with the many X/S versions available and remastered coming. And if you’re an “eye candy” player like me, it’s worth starting fresh with the X/S versions. I was waiting, as others, for the X, and who knows when it’ll be available but I’m satisfied with the S. This machine rocks!

The Xbox is hands down the best gaming console to ever hit the market. The graphics of the Xbox are breath taking. You can see fine details and shadows and contrasts like never before on PlayStation products. The system is so FAST also! No long waits for a game to load up. The new controller is fantastic and really feels extremely high quality in the hands.

Next Gen Gaming comes at an accessible price point. If you're willing to sacrifice a disk drive, this is recommended. Although, beware that you will only get about 380 GB out of the box to use for games and apps, meaning that Microsoft's $220 expansion card is basically a must have. If you can get a series x, get it. Otherwise this is a great alternative.

The Xbox Series S is a steal for $300.00! You can game in 4K at 120Hz if your TV can handle it and you can actually find these to buy. Streaming services are a breeze and the interface is exactly the same as my Series X for $200.00 less. A no brainer gaming upgrade.

There's a lot of power in this small console for reasonable price . The audio and video are improved from my previous xbox one s , in a slightly smaller package . The one and only complaint I have is that you can not use this system if you don't have a smart phone , my ps5 is plug and play no smart phone activation required .

I purchased this as a way to access next-gen gaming without breaking the bank or waiting for the main consoles' availability. Needless to say, it is a big upgrade, even without some of the features of the Series X or PS5. If you want a budget option for next-gen gaming and you aren't looking for anything PC-related, this is a solid option.
