I got this system simply due to the fact that the Series X was almost impossible to find. I was worried that games would run poorly or be held back due to the lower specs of the Series S. My worries were put to rest when every game ran extremely smooth. Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Flight Simulator all ran great.

I think this is probably the best Xbox so far I love the slim look and the fact it as a lot more storage it loads fast and it hasn't got hot or the hard drive hasn't needed to be reset

I’m no Xbox fanboy but it is a great system. Have had my series x for a couple years and play it almost every day. If you’re looking for a system with an actual drive, not digital, grab the series x. But this is big bang for the Buck.

The xbox is nice. I still miss the disc tray to play my xbox in cds. Overall, quiality is excellent

This is a solid base device for gaming for young kids. Everything you could want and at a baseline price.

Compact, easy to set up and use almost immediately.

Excellent little console. While it may not have the power of it's bigger brother or the PS5, this guy punches far above its weight class. Quick loading times and solid picture quality for most games. The small size form factor is also a bonus, if you take business trips, this will fit in your backpack.

Great console for the price. Its tiny and easily transportable as well. This will run games just as good as my series X does. Since i have it hooked to an older tv I'm not able to use the upgraded visuals the X provides anyways. Its good for the price, but if you're just buying it as a placeholder until you get the X, you might not be happy with it.

Daughter loves it. I have my own series x and wanted her to have something of her own using our family game pass subscription. It’s a nice small size and the graphics are better than I thought for the lesser powered variant of these new Xbox consoles. Scales surprisingly well on a 4K tv, smooth frame rates.

My kids love being able to play this console. They have a lot of fun.

Props to Microsoft. They blew my mind with this one. Xbox series S is super tiny like the Wii but more powerful. I love the quick resume and the game pass. The price is really good for those who don’t want to spend much. I do hate that it doesn’t take disks tho it’s a shame Microsoft do be going digital in the near future.

Excellent value for the money. You can restrict the times in which your children can play as well as what age level for games they can download and play. My only gripe really is with that control not being so granular I can block specific applications and the size of the hard drive, but that's not a knock on Best Buy. With prices what they currently are for the PS5, X-Box Series X, and Nintendo Switch, this is an affordable alternative.

Overall, I like how the Series S performs for the price. It is the perfect companion console if you have a chunky P.C. The M.2 drives and quick resume play is amazing Backwords compatibility and Indie games are the highlights for this console, if you are looking for true next generation gaming then go for the Series X or a RTX3080 equipped computer.

So glad I finally got my hands on one. I haven’t found any games that blow my mind with next-gen optimization, but I’m loving the all digital system. It’s so small, I was actually shocked. Not much taller or wider than my Switch when it’s docked. Game pass is so worth it to me. I’m excited for future games to come out that are optimized for the system.

Absolutely love the console! Very small and easy setup its super fast! Only downside is storage but other than that its awesome. And since i have a 4k tv my xbox series s also runs in 4k! Also if you're waiting for in store pickup be patient trust me youll get it. I had a delay pickup message on my estimated date and then it was ready the next day. Happy gaming!
