Honestly, the Series S isn't really my thing. The purchase came mainly for my partner and our kids, who see great use out of it. It offers a good price > performance ratio and will likely keep many people happy, though as I'm more of an enthusiast with the hobby, had I been purchasing for myself, I'd have gone with a Series X or a PS5 as I already have a more than capable enough for my needs PC for gaming.

If your not gaming at 4K 120hz then there is no reason to get the X for 200 more dollars. This tiny Xbox got some power and it’s super quite too. This is the one for $300 guys. Only thing I wish is it had a 1TB SSD instead of 512GB.

Absolutely amazing. Stunning picture and unparalleled gaming experience. Some of the games that have been enhanced for s/x are mesmerizing. Diskless gaming is a plus, and reduces clutter and change for games to be damaged or misplaced.

This is a little beast, I have a series X, and got this for my secondary room, it could easily be some ones main console. This guy does all the next generation tricks and perks, for the value with game pass its unbeatable

My kid absolutely loved it. We had to learn how to download stuff, but the product itself was a great gift.

I have both the PS5 and Xbox but the Series S has a few more features that I believe put it on par with the PS5 depending on what you value more.

System loads up fast can go back and forth between games in an instance.. Got it for me son he clearly notices the visual and gameplay difference.. Should come with 2 controllers and more storage for all the money you spend on the system..

The console is a great way to step into the next gen scene with upscaled resolution. Yes "upscaled" because it isn't as crisp and clear as the series "X" but you can't tell unless you hold up a magnifying glass against the pixel screen. CONS: 1) The console heats up laying down and standing, 2) The console randomly freezes or shuts off possibly due to heat 3) Not enough storage space for games 4) Doesn't support good quality stream apps 5) Attaching a camera to the console causes stutter 6) cameras appear low quality and lag quite severely PROS: 1) games are being upgraded to "X"S" 2) games are upscaled 3) you get to enjoy xbox pass which has better games than sony 4) xbox has the best controller on the market

Amazing value. Using the fsp boost to get 60 fps with my current tv. Load times are amazing even on a standard external drive. I wish the external SSD was more affordable but this works for now. Game pass is an excellent value.

Love it ! Best investment pound for pound new system looks great running 120 frames at 1440 . unless you got a few thousand dollar tv with hdmi 2.1 to reach 60 frames at 4k on the X . This series S is the answer looks amazing and so small !

My Son Love's this Console! I Love it cause i can set screen time and parental controlled. The fact that i can control everything from my Phone is Awesome. Love It!!

Great gaming experience. Only con is the storage on this Xbox. Only 2 games can be played at a time.

Love this console. So annoyed with not being able to get a “next gen” console without overpaying, I tried the Series S. So far, I love it, buying the Game Pass is a must. My only complaint would be the lack of storage.

Bought this for my nephew and he is happy with this xbox we were waiting for ps5 but ended up buying this one and my nephew is happy with this console performance

Tinier than the Xbox One which is nice.. Super quiet and super fast. If I were upgrading from the Xbox One the only difference would be the noise the console makes to be honest.. Unless you're buying the Series X then just save your money.

Great next generation device at a small price. My only gripe about it is that the drive is small, if you want you have to spend like 220 for a ssd, yeah you can buy a hdd but let’s be honest at some point those will be obsolete.
