Great gift for my child. Arrived on when expected, We have been loving it.

I got exactly what I wanted from Best Buy: an Xbox Series S, very quickly and easy. Pickup was hassle-free, and the console works spectacularly. I bought it to play Mortal Kombat 1, Starfield, and a few other games, and it does so flawlessly. My only "complaint" would be the storage space, but since that's on the product label, you know what you're getting into, and it can be easily fixed by buying an external hard drive.

YES! Excellent gaming system! I decided to forego the discs because I have an 11 year old - also it's $200 less! The graphics are gorgeous and I've not had a game glitch out on me yet. Definitely prepare to get Xbox Live at least, so another $10 monthly or $100 a year. I opted for GamePass and LOVE IT! The only real complaint I'd say I have is that its only 512GB out the box - but I have added additional storage via my USB 3.0 external HD. Oh, and remote play is a total game changer! Love sitting outside by the fire playing xbox *additional viewing device needed*,Good vibes, hope you can get your hands on one - took me months of watching alerts for when it'd be in stock but it was worth it!

The Xbox series s this console was cheaper than buying Its big brother the x. The graphics may be a little bit lower, but you still get the same enjoyment as you was on the big powerhouse one. Storage was a little disappointment but I bought some extra storage.

It’s really under rated the quality is great it’s super fast and it’s great for someone who doesn’t plan to download a lot of games or play cloud games

More powerful than you think. I couldn’t wait to get home and play some of the titles that comes with the Game Pass. Very exciting!

Best decision of my life! This is because I'm upgrading from an OG xbox one. There isnt much space, so consider that when buying. No disc drive. If you download many games, or want the best graphics then I suggest the Xbox series x. A external drive can be used to store games, but all X/S games need to be install in the main drive to play. Games: I'm playing on my LG 4K TV, which supports 4k at 60 fps. Elden Ring with this tv graphic setting is great. When playing Apex Legends, I need to adjust TV settings to 1080p 120fps and the game looks great!

I can’t get my hands on a Xbox series X at retail price and I needed to upgrade my old Xbox One. I set my expectations low because I figured for $299 there’s no way this console can be that much better. I could not be more wrong!! The way the graphics look, and how quickly games load and handle are amazing. The gamepass also makes Xbox a great buy!! 10/10 would buy again. I will gladly get the series X at retail when they get the inventory, but this is more than good for me!! Also reccommend getting the seagate expansion card because that’s my only complaint is storage… these games are way too big for the storage the console comes with.

The series S is a great console for the price. I bought from Best Buy open box for under $200 and it looks and works as brand new. It’s a small console and looks very nice and subtle. Plays most games In 60fps.

The mighty Xbox is mighty with a size of a book! Well a thiccc book but it delivers. There’s reduced resolution and fidelity doesn’t stops gameplay that it delivers. 120 fps was a great choice to prioritize, over resolution and what it really delivers is gaming at an affordable cost! Microsoft takes the loss on $$ but delivers gaming! The controller alone costs 59$, I’ll just leave it at that!

This series s is nothing short of amazing what it offers for the price. A very small sleek well made powerhouse of a console for only $299, You will have a hard time noticing any difference in graphics or gameplay between this series s compared to the series x or PlayStation 5. I own all three and I’m telling you if this is the only console you own your good. If you have a 4K tv it will upscale games to 4K as well. The console being all digital is not a problem for me as most disc games make you download huge files before even play anyway. And with gamepass you get so many free games to play you be busy a long time. Grab this console it will surprise you.

This is the last Xbox that I got haven’t switched it over 3 to 4 years now. And I see no reason to change anytime soon still works like new and it’s super fast with the Internet and the multiplayer capabilities as well

This product is very good. The packaging was well done and there was nothing missing; it was a great budget version of the Series X. Very fun to play with and very nice games. An overall good job.

I've used my original Xbox One as my secondary console for over 6 years now and it's been a Halo/Gears/Forza machine. I picked up a PS5 a few months ago and absolutely loved the console. Well I decided to give Xbox another chance decided to pick up the less powerful Series S. I'm so glad I made that decision because my PS5 has been collecting dust since picking up my series. I've been addicted to playing Forza and all my friends on PC are able to play some Halo with me thanks to cross-play. People will preach Gamepass over and over and I can't agree more. It's an absolute must if you're considering picking up an Xbox. The ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I sadly had to return the first Xbox Series S. I originally set up my series S and noticed something was wrong when I tried navigating the system. The up button on the D-Pad started to stick and the console became unusable essentially. Went to Best Buy to return it and luckily they were able to just switch it out for a new controller. Instead of having to order a new console altogether. Overall I highly recommend this console and hopefully, you don't deal with the defect I did.

Great disc-free console for your everyday gaming. My only cons would be the size of the hard drive and not coming with a rechargeable controller, but both features can be purchased as an add-on.

Lots of fun with improved graphics over our old Xbox One. We really wanted a series X but even a year out they’re still being scooped by scalpers and impossible to get. When our Xbox One finally died, we ended up going with the Series S after a month of trying. Need all the fun toys working at home during the pandemic and it doesn’t seem like the X will be available any time soon. That said, this is an impressive little machine and I am glad we got it. It’s a huge upgrade and the graphics still look pretty great on our 4k TV. Best of all, we were able to pay a normal price without encouraging greedy scalpers.

Solid next gen console for a great price! Know what you’re getting before buying. Great as a secondary console or the gamer who’s not ready to totally dive into all that next gen gaming has to offer.

Awesome system....with one MAJOR flaw microsoft doesn't tell you about. I recently upgraded from my xbox one s to the series s and you can see a major difference in system speed, graphics etc. I had an external seagate drive attached to my one s and never had any issues. I assumed doing the same with this system wouldn't be a problem, however as you start to download games SPECIFICALLY designed for series x/s or cloud gaming, you are presented a message that because of the speed of the games, it has to be downloaded to the internal memory. So MAJOR drawback having only 512gb of internal memory. Now right now its not a huge issue because most games are not optimized for series x/s but when the gaming ramps up, space disappears quick. And unfortunately, xbox has said external drives even with usb 3.0 are not quick enough speed wise. So what does that mean? If you want to save more things on your xbox, you will need to purchase the additional seagate xbox ssd card which is 200$ for their lowest one. At that point, should have just purchased a series x.

I purchased this for traveling (I have a Series X at home). I have been very pleasantly surprised with the performance, I don't notice much of a difference compared to the X. If you are on a budget and lean towards downloads anyways, I would highly recommend this model. Only thing I would do differently is purchasing the newer model with more storage...probably worth the price difference.
