It really is a blast. Really the only thing that sucks is the storage but thats what you expect when buying it. I bought this with the external storage and it is perfect. Handles all the games i throw at it. I play online a bunch with my friends, PUBG is a big one. Console has no problem with games online, runs very quiet which i love. I do love the game pass but i mainly buy games from the store. Ive been a xbox gamer since day one and this little wonder is amazing. I opted for this one since the tower was still back ordered. I do recommend getting this especially for the price. Just be prepared to get extra storage devices then your golden.

I have 2 as additional consoles in the house, one for my wife and son. Allows us to play together and small enough to pack and take with you if needed

I love the xbox you don’t even need a pc usually one my one s my game lags butler on the series a it never lags always 100 fps or higher.

good idea from microsoft to make an entry model at a lower price. ideal for 1080p 60fps gaming with either game pass or external storage etc. no disc

Big step up from the Xbox One X version before the Series S/X came out, games run phenomenal and console feels up to date and fluid

Wonderful little xbox. Digital only so you get a discount for that, but it still works very well.

Love this little box. It's a powerful system. Just wish it had a bigger hard drive. It's so fast. Game pass makes it easy to go all digital. I'll get physical copies of my games on my N Switch. Quick resume is sooo convenient. Its hard to go back to the other systems without that feature. Forza,ori & crysis 2,3 remastered look AMAZING in 1080p upscaled to 4k.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves her series S! We game share so she has my gamepass and all the digits games that I’ve bought.

Pick this up if you dont want to throw down too much money. Paired with xbox live service and you’ll have a great gaming console ready to boot up and play

This a compact untit that is digital so no discs the have lying around. With it's ability to process the format quickly there is no doubt this a good unit for any gamer.

Nice xbox but if you play a lot of games and need memory you might buy the bigger memory xbox.

WHO THIS IS FOR - * People who want to get in on next gen gaming without breaking the bank. * PS5 owners who want to play Microsoft exclusives or have access to Microsoft game pass. It's a perfect "game pass machine." * People who don't own or don't really care to own, a 4k UHD TV. * People who don't put a priority on having top of the line performance - i.e. non-competitive gamers, kids, etc. * People who don't need physical media for games / entertainment. WHO THIS IS NOT FOR - * Hard core gamers who want to take advantage of all the bells and whistles that the most powerful next-gen consoles have to offer (i.e. Series X & PS5) * People who want to game in full 4k @ 120 hz / 120 fps. The Series S maxes out at 1440p. * People with a large library of Xbox / 360 / Xbox One physical games and / or DVDs. The Series S is digital only. The jury is still out on how future proof the Series S will be once developers start really taking advantage of the Series X's horsepower. But for now, and honestly - I upgraded to a Series X - the differences are negligible.

I still have no idea how I managed to order this AND have it shipped/delivered all within 1 day but I’m definitely not complaining! I ordered this for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it! It’s the perfect option for a “budget” next-gen experience. My main critique is the rather low amount of internal storage given the obnoxiously large file size of games nowadays. Thus, I highly recommend getting an external hard drive which I know you can always find good deals on. Just know that you can only play next-gen games if they’re installed on the internal drive. You can still move those games on an external drive for the sole purpose of storage which still saves you from having to delete and re-download them.

Got my son a new Xbox once his older version died, no issues with this new one! Lots of fun

The most underrated console. It has the best value and with Game Pass, it only makes sense to buy it. I unfortunately returned it just because I was able to get a Series X. Don’t sleep on this one, it truly offers such a great performance to value ratio. I mostly play FPS titles like Call of Duty and was able to get 120fps at 1440p. It’s only a matter of when before I get another Series S for the bedroom. If you don’t have a 4K TV/monitor then this is the console to get. If you do have a 4K TV/monitor, this is still a worthy purchase in my opinion. It plays so much smoother and better than some entry level PCs. Also, it’s so quiet you almost don’t even know it’s on.

just a couple of years ago my family decided to go all digital because of the non disc drive feature.I have 3 kids that are still little enough to break things as kids do. The small design makes it easier to not take up a lot of space to not be in the way to get easily knocked off and broken which is a bonus with having children. The con is that there is not a lot of memory if you are a adult hard core gamer that likes to have a ton of games already loaded instant to play. This console is highly good for if you have children and if you are only a casual gamer that does not play a vast variety of multiple games. all said it is still a great product with one unspoken bonus of not having to have a bunch of game cases taking up a ton of room.
