So far with the few games I installed on it, it runs great. Everything opens really fast. I connected it to my 55 inch 4K TV, which doesn't support the full capabilities this is capable of; the picture quality is great still even though its upscaled to 4K from 1440P. The colors are more intense compared to the Xbox One S that I was upgrading. It does run hot when in 4K mode but it doesn't seem to be an issue. I do wish the internal drive capacity was a lot more though, since newer games take up more space.

I use a Mac for work but when I want to take a break, I switch my display to the xbox and I can game immediately. It's small, unobtrusive and serves as my primary gaming device when I'm playing games solo. I have a separate Xbox Series X in my family room attached to the TV which serves as my primary party/media consumption device. Only thing to note is that you can't be logged into xbox live with the same account on both devices at the same time. It will log you out of the other device.
