I just turn this and the TV on and I don't have to pay attention to my kid for days! (Wink....)

I purchased this while I waited out the strangle hold scammers and Microsoft had on the availability of the Series X. By the time I write this review, I have finally purchased the X and have been highly unimpressed with the X and the lag/glitchy performance of my X. My Series S performed exceptionally better then my X does and for the value, the S is highly superior especially due to the manipulation of the availability of the X and price at which most owners have been forced to pay to get the X.

Compact, works well, easy purchase and pick up. The game load times are incredible! Especially compared to last gen. Picture is good, even with older TV.

Great system. Combined with the next-gen capabilities and its small size, it was well worth the purchase!

Love it. Plugged in an external hard drive and don’t have to worry about discs getting rings of death or stuck anymore.

I have been away from Xbox for 15 years having only ever owned the original Xbox. I was lucky enough to hit bestbuy.com on a day when the console was available locally and I snagged it! Connected and optimized the Series S to a 4K HDR TV and the console loads quickly and looks and plays beautifully! Game Pass is the way to go on this all digital device with the Seagate external hard drive, but looking forward to purchasing some digital games in due time. Thanks to the Mechanicsburg, PA Best Buy staff for all of their assistance with everything related to this purchase!

good picture, wanted the series x but they were sold out. This one does pretty good for about half the price.

Great price for the hardware. If you are wanting a next gen console, but okay with 1440p gaming, then this is the one to get. If you have to have 4K, then you are better off going for the Series X. Otherwise, this is a great gaming console. Load times are very quick. The only thing I didn’t care for was the controller, but that is only because I have large hands. If you have large hands, then you might experience cramping after about 30 minutes or so of gaming. If this is the case, then the previous Xbox controller might be better for you since it still compatible with it.

Got this for my kid for Christmas. I Haven't played it myself but he is more than happy with it.

I just bought this Xbox about 1 month ago and I’m loving it. I didn’t think it would have such a great performance at just $300 but it’s amazing. I must say that I recommend getting an external har drive to add on to the storage just because 564 gigabytes just isn’t enough in my opinion, and since you are getting this at such a great price it’s honestly worth it. If you don’t, you might see some decrease in performance and maybe some lag due to less frames. All in all this console is great and I 100% would recommend it to anyone.

Bought for my 8 year old. It’s perfect for her as she doesn’t play tons of games

I like that that this xbox is all digital downloads and affordable compared to other consoles.

My daughter and her bf love it. They said it's a big improvement over their xbox one s and so much faster! They are very pleased. Only downfall would be the storage, but for the holiday bundle price, can't beat that. All in all I guess dad finally picked out a good xmas present ;)

got this for myself but my daughter quickly took it for an addition to her gaming pc. it was very easy to setup on both the tv and the pc, quality is good and it’s fun to play. has plenty of storage space for all of her games and the controller works smoothly on her pc screen
