At first I was hesitant to buy this because of there being a slower gpu than the Xbox series X and didn’t know if I should wait until the Xbox series X was easily purchasable, anyways I bought it and I’m so glad I did. This console is amazing and I saved so much money! It’s way better than the previous consoles and pretty much the same price! I’m so glad I bought this!

Really enjoy this xbox its nice to not have to hassle with disks for your games and having to worry if the disk has scratches and will play or not. My only con is once you buy a game your stuck with it so trying the games isnt an option persay without the gamepass but its worth the 15ish a month! I will though reccomend if you play alot of games to get a external hard drive space is decently limmited

Honestly better than my Series X. I have both the Series X I got from Microsoft directly. Ended up getting this as my back up gaming system for my office. If you don’t play a TON of different games it’s a steal. I only play about 3 so the memory lacking doesn’t hurt me at all and I purchase all my games as digital downloads anyways so no need for a disc drive.

I am an avid gamer, I started playing videogames in the late 70s when my parents bought me an Atari 2600. I have had the pleasure of owning all of the major consoles since then and I have been a fan of XBOX since 2001. I also play playstaion and I own a PS5. I was a huge fan of the 360 and barely touched my PS3 that generation. Then the PS4 and the XBOX one came out and Playstation dominated them from the very start till the bitter end. Now it seems the pendulum has again swung in XBOX's favor. I picked up an S to use for gamepass as Forza and Halo are coming out and I cant believe the value I am getting with gamespass. Literally the deal of the century and the S model plays games very fast and I have never once felt like I compromised. I will relegate this unit to my bedroom and replace it with the X in a year or so when they are commonplace as the grind to get a PS5 took alot out of me as far as time consumed goes. I think the S model with gamespass is the best deal ever in the history of gaming and I should know. I have been here for the entire history of videogaming. Congrats Microsoft you just changed the game again.

Honestly this thing is great and is probably a better fit for lost than a series X. The only reason I returned this thing is because I already have the X and a Ps5. This thing is great though. Looks great on a 2k monitor and it’s so compact. Great for a traveling professional. Highly recommend this thing!

I bought this as a replacement for my wife’s Xbox that gave up the ghost. It is discless, and is meant for 1440p, but it still plays everything about as well as my friends series x. Overall a good value for 300.

Arrived earlier than expected !! Excellent birthday gift

With Starfield on the horizon I had to make sure I could play it day one. With my only Xbox One it was incompatible with this new game so I had to make the most cost efficient upgrade. After setting it up using the Xbox app on my phone I am so glad I purchased this item. It is a wonderful addition to my entertainment system as a whole and provides not only optimal gaming content but access to my existing streaming services at the press of a button. I highly recommend this product if this the 1TB option is out of your price range because it offers pretty close to what is needed to accomplish the new chapter of gaming.

I was very hesitant to buy the Series S instead of the Series X. I pride myself on always having the best, most up to date tech available and, on paper, this isn’t it. However, with the Series X in such short supply, I purchased this as a placeholder until I could find a Series X. I am so glad that I did. This device renders at lower resolutions than it’s bigger brother, meaning that the picture is not quite as clear, but sitting on my couch and viewing it from a normal viewing distance, I can barely tell. I would never recommend this for a gaming desk setup, because the differences in rendering resolution and slightly dialed back effects are going to be obvious to people sitting 2-4 feet away from their screen. In a living room setup on the other hand, where most people sit about 10 feet away from their screens, this looks really great! Even being the great big tech-geek that I am, I’m considering skipping the more expensive Series X and just sticking with my Series S. I have to imagine that if I’m happy with it, the majority of people definitely would be as well.

Such a great value for the price point! I have game pass for the next 3 years and this console is perfect for my needs. The console has such a low profile that it will fit in any entertainment setup. Cooling is also a non-issue with the huge fan. Highly recommended for those with game pass and not picky about hardware.

First ever console, this is a whole clutch. I was scared to get an xbox since I’ve never used one before so I would have to get used to then controls. But it was actually so easy to adjust to it. This is a great system. I bought this to play Xbox exclusive titles and Xbox Game Pass and I am more than satisfied. Yes, it is not as good as the Series X but for the price and what you get, this system has been an absolute joy to play with. I highly recommend this system.

Good deal if you need a console upgrade but aren’t a big time gamer. Value is great in $-per-feature, compared to the Xbox series X, ps5 both versions. Real question is whether you value gaming enough to pay for more nifty features. This is the Honda Accord, does everything well that you need and won’t set you back anymore than you need, while the other consoles may be more akin to slightly more sporty cars that are cool and all, but don’t necessarily make a huge difference in its overall real purpose.

This little machine of an xbox is actually really good but only if you prefer digital games and streaming. The xbox gamepass ultimate is a must for this device really. Maybe in the future they'll include a disc drive again doubt it though.
