    Xbox Series S

This Xbox Series S packs a lot of power for its small size and the price makes it very worth it. Would recommend this to any parent who wants to get their son into Next Gen gaming without breaking the budget. It can play every next gen triple A title without worry and up to 120 FPS.

This was for my oldest that plays but not as much anymore so I didnt want to invest a ton of money on something that he wouldnt use much and bought the youngest the Xbox X and they both are pretty similar to me but they are happy and love it compared to their old Xbox One S

The xbox S series. A quality part of the lineup for those who do not need a disc drive or 4k. It does the job.

    Hindsight WOWIE ZOWIE

With Hindsight, this was an amazing deal! Now Microsoft is charging an arm and a leg...an another arm to get the budget Xbox. Without hindsight, it was a good deal. With the old way of thinking in the games industry, I would've thought the Xbox series S would be $150 or at worse $200 by 2025. If I wanted to I could sell mine for a profit, but the portability with modern gaming is too good to give up (yes i know about Steam deck, Rog ally, Switch- which I have, etc.). I'm shocked how much I've traveled with this thing. However, 512 GBs of space is diabolical for a digital only console AND you can only use Microsoft made up SSD's. The Xbox software takes at least a third of the space.

I love fueling my stardew valley addiction <3 … it is so much smoother to use than my PC and my PS3. My only critiques would be that Xbox controllers are a little annoying and don’t have the longest battery life (mine are wireless) and if you’re a big gamer that’s into a lot of different games storage might be an issue, regardless I’d still recommend buying.

Ive had it for 5 months now, its amazing. The fps and loading times are what made it good, I dont really care about graphics. The gamepass is one of the best subscription services available, it has over 400 games, you'll find something you like. Only problem is the storage, it runs out quickly if you're downloading large games.

    Affordable Console Gaming

Very affordable way to get into current gen console gaming. I love the console's look and how compact it is. Only real draw back (and it's a big one) is the lack of internal memory. 512 gigs just isn't enough for modern games. Especially considering that Series X/S games can only run on SSD so even an external HDD doesn't help much here and an SSD expansion is almost as much as the console itself, might as well get a Series X at that point. But if you're not as an intense user this might be the right choice for you.

This console is awesome!! Everything run smooth, not issues at all!! I wish I got a bigger storage size, but we are balling on a budget, but I am going to purchase a storage upgrade. I switched from a playstation to an xbox and like this so much better. The controller layout is way better than the PS4 controller.

At first I was hesitant to buy this because of there being a slower gpu than the Xbox series X and didn’t know if I should wait until the Xbox series X was easily purchasable, anyways I bought it and I’m so glad I did. This console is amazing and I saved so much money! It’s way better than the previous consoles and pretty much the same price! I’m so glad I bought this!

Really enjoy this xbox its nice to not have to hassle with disks for your games and having to worry if the disk has scratches and will play or not. My only con is once you buy a game your stuck with it so trying the games isnt an option persay without the gamepass but its worth the 15ish a month! I will though reccomend if you play alot of games to get a external hard drive space is decently limmited

I have no complaints about this gaming console other than the small memory capacity but that was expected upon purchase...and nothing that an external hard drive can't fix! The smoothness, quickness and graphics are all a step-up from our last xbox console. For the price... you really can't go wrong!

    Xbox series S

Great graphics compared to older models. Both new Xbox graphics and performance wise are pretty much the same beside storage capacity which sucks because it’s the digital only version and you have to download all your games. Which storage capacity doesn’t allow you to download too many games. However buy a 5tb external hard drive like I did which you would probably have to do with the x series any. So this way your about 430$ in versus 630$. So I’d choose the more cost efficient unit.

Why the Series S works for me

Let me start off by saying that there is nothing wrong with the Series S at its price point. The value and power you get for the price far outweighs the console's shortcomings vs the Series X. Here is why this console works for me: -I already own a PS5 so I have access to some of the most beautiful 4k games out there right now. -I don't own a high-end 4K TV. I've got a 43" TCL and 50" Samsung that only run at 60hz, and I play from my couch or bed. Forza on the Series S looks 4K (I do know it's upscaled 4K on the Series S) on a 43" TV sitting that far away. Also, I sometimes game on a 1080p monitor. -I've never owned an Xbox before and didn't want to justify the extra $200 when I already have a PS5. -I don't care for discs. I have the PS5 Digital Edition so I am fully digital already. This all being said, I would have bought the Series X for sure if I didn't own a PS5 and had a high-end, large 4K TV. Being someone who has an eye for HD, I wouldn't be able to handle the 4 teraflops of the Series S. Overall, I don't regret my decision. The Series S is an extremely capable machine that still renders beautiful graphics and boasts a lot of power. The world of Xbox is amazing and with Game Pass, it's unstoppably amazing. I've put many more hours into playing this in the first week than I ever did with my PS5. That's not saying the games on PS5 are worse, but having Game Pass gives me access to hundreds of good games that me and my family play.

I wanted to not like this system. I thought it needs more storage and an optical drive. Then it was in sale for Christmas. They got me. It was an excellent price. After setting it up, I really enjoyed the system. For the price, I forgot the limitations the system has (for now). Im very happy with this. Glad I made the purchase

    Low Budget Next-Gen

If you’re looking to try out the new games that recently dropped or looking forward to the new ones but they’re only for next generation consoles, the Series S is pretty good purchase. Especially if 4K resolution isn’t a necessary and all you wanted to do is game, get it. It’s compact and small compare to the other new consoles. The storage size is decent for starters but you’ll eventually purchase more storage in future if you plan to play more games. Love the minimalistic design and the controller feels great. Setback is just the bettery requirements but you’ll find good accessories to help you with that besides constantly buying AA batteries. I recommend this to anyone who is a gamer with a budget or who causally games.

I bought the Series S while on a work trip because the hotel I got put up in actually has decent Internet. It performs very well, and although the storage space is a little lacking, I was only planning on downloading a few games while I was traveling anyway. 5 stars for being the Series X's little brother.
