A+ value - can’t complain about much at this price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good deal if you need a console upgrade but aren’t a big time gamer. Value is great in $-per-feature, compared to the Xbox series X, ps5 both versions. Real question is whether you value gaming enough to pay for more nifty features. This is the Honda Accord, does everything well that you need and won’t set you back anymore than you need, while the other consoles may be more akin to slightly more sporty cars that are cool and all, but don’t necessarily make a huge difference in its overall real purpose.

Great System at a Great Price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great system. I bought this to play Xbox exclusive titles and Xbox Game Pass and I am more than satisfied. Yes, it is not as good as the Series X but for the price and what you get, this system has been an absolute joy to play with. I highly recommend this system.

Xbox review
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good system. Small enough to bring with you anywhere and you dont have to worry about losing any cd games or worry about them getting scratched up since everything is digital.

Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little machine of an xbox is actually really good but only if you prefer digital games and streaming. The xbox gamepass ultimate is a must for this device really. Maybe in the future they'll include a disc drive again doubt it though.

Xbox series s
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best console for its price range. Can handle every game almost has good as the series x or play station 5 while also handling 120 fps. Great option if you want to be a competitive gamer or even if you play from time to time. Its the best option for both having a great time and also not spending that much money.

I'm not a gamer but,
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm new to gaming. This is the first console I've ever used. I basically chose this for its price and whether it would play Hogwarts Legacy efficiently. I asked a gamer about different consoles and went with the one i could afford. I'm satisfied with what it does. The only problem is there is no disc drive. All games are digital.

Gaming Couple Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think Best Buy has probably handled stocking these better than most retailers did, especially with how hard these are to find. This was my second Next-Gen console, this one for my wife, who was using my hand-me-down Xbox one S. Best Buy made it simple and easy to surprise my wife and have her pick it up herself. This was an added touch that I really appreciate their app having. Best Buy did a 10/10 on this purchase. The Console Itself: It’s definitely not the Series X in terms of processing power, which led to a loss of fluidity in frame rate at times, but this was far and few between, happening exclusively on large MMORPG’s Such as Black Desert. It’s internal storage is laughable, considering large games can be 100’s of gbs. An easy fix is to just pick up a 2 tb hard drive from seagate. That’s what she did, and now she has more room that I do. Overall, it was a great buy for us. If you’re looking to game with your partner, the series S is an awesome option!

Great price, works fantastic and is nice and compact! Exactly the system we needed for our living room and we love the digital edition because our son likes to break disc drives.

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series S is a compact and affordable next-generation gaming console offered by Microsoft. Here's a review of the console based on its features and performance. Design and Build Quality: The Xbox Series S features a sleek and compact design that is significantly smaller than its counterpart, the Xbox Series X. It has a white color scheme with a black vented grille on top. The build quality is solid, with a premium feel despite its smaller size. The console is lightweight, making it easy to move around or fit into smaller spaces. Performance: While the Xbox Series S is less powerful than the Xbox Series X, it still delivers impressive performance for its price. It is capable of rendering games at up to 1440p resolution with support for ray tracing and variable refresh rate. The console also features a custom SSD, which significantly reduces loading times in games and allows for quick resume features. It is worth noting that the Series S targets 60fps performance rather than the higher frame rates offered by the Series X. Game Library: The Xbox Series S is part of the Xbox ecosystem, which includes Xbox Game Pass, a subscription service that provides access to a vast library of games. This gives players the opportunity to explore a wide variety of titles, including both new releases and older classics. The console is backward compatible, allowing you to play Xbox One, Xbox 360, and even some original Xbox games. Additionally, the Series S supports Smart Delivery, which ensures that you get the best version of a game for your console. User Interface and Features: The Xbox Series S runs on the same user interface as the rest of the Xbox One family, with a user-friendly and intuitive interface. It offers various entertainment apps and streaming services, making it a versatile entertainment center. The console also supports backward compatibility with Xbox One accessories, so you can continue using your existing controllers, headsets, and other peripherals. Value for Money: The Xbox Series S is an excellent choice for gamers on a budget or those who don't require 4K gaming. It offers a significant leap in performance over the previous generation, supports the latest gaming technologies, and provides access to a vast game library. Its lower price point compared to the Series X makes it an attractive option for casual gamers or those with limited space. Conclusion: The Xbox Series S is a compelling choice for gamers looking for a more affordable entry into next-generation gaming. While it sacrifices some power and 4K capabilities compared to the Series X, it still delivers impressive performance and features a robust game library. If you're primarily focused on 1080p or 1440p gaming and want access to the latest Xbox titles, the Series S is a solid choice that offers great value for money.

Great Device for Great Price (and easier to get)
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really holding out for an XBOX Series X but I was having such a hard time finding one so I opted for the Series S. This was actually my first XBOX since the 360. I have a PS4 and I use that quite often but figured with GamePass due to the price of the Series S, I would give it a go and I'm glad I got it. I have a 65" LG C1 and even with the lower resolution, I have no issues with quality on the OLED tv, I was a little worried with it not having true 4k capabilities for gaming but honestly I never even notice. What I probably notice the most is how much quicker it is as loading games than my PS4 PRO but I cannot comment on prior XBOX models and it's been a while since I've owned one. If you can truly live without the true 4k, I say it's the next best thing and with gamepass, it makes for a great gaming experience.

I was scared to get an xbox since I’ve never used one before so I would have to get used to then controls. But it was actually so easy to adjust to it. Xbox Series S is fire, I recommend it to anyone wanting a new console. Plus, the controls are smooth fr.

Game Pass Next Gen Console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase the Series S along with the Series X. The purpose for my Series S is for another room in the home as a Game Pass console. Though the S is not as powerful, has much less storage space than the X, and no Disc drive; it is still a great console if you know what you're getting into. It is a download only console. I would highly recommend using it as a Game Pass console. A great affordable entry into next gen. The pros is the SSD is the same one in the Series X. Very fast. it's a day and night difference compared to the previous generation of consoles. Once again, storage space is not much. Would suggest storing games on a HDD and switch back to the internal drive when you want to play more games utilizing the speed of the SSD. If you decide to buy the officially licensed Seagate SSD card you might as well go for the Series X.

Excellent value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The series s paired with gamepass is an amazing value and one of the easiest ways to get into next gen gaming. While it doesn't pack the punch of its big brother graphics wise, it is able to handle 1080p and 1440p without a problem so its perfect for pairing with a 1440p monitor or a 1080p tv. The quality of life improvements like quick resume and the speedy ssd make a bigger difference than you might expect, youll never want to play on an older gen console again. I ended up getting a series x when i bought my 4k tv but I kept the series s to pair with an older 1080p plasma tv so I could play games with my son and also use it as a media player/streaming device.
