The Xbox Series S has exceeded my expectations. Its compact size belies its powerful performance, delivering seamless gameplay and rapid loading. The Game Pass is a treasure trove of diverse titles. Although limited to 1440p, its affordability and gaming experience earn it a resounding 5 stars.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas so she can play Halo and she hasn’t stopped playing yet.

Was as advertised !!!! Best Buy was right on time, hassle free- had me gaming in an hour! Loved the service so much I just ordered new washer and dryer from them, everyone else was 3 weeks to a month from getting it, Best Buy 3 days! Can’t beat that!!!

A miniature tank of a console! Great product for those not hindered by discs anymore. Every process feels like an improvement over the One X, with visible differences. And the fact of how compact this thing is for the power you get is insane. When compared to the Series X the Series S obviously lacks in certain categories that highly attuned console players will notice, if they have the other components to bring out the differences between the two.

Not a hardcore gamer, just needed something to play basic games like EA FC or Call of Duty and this gets the job done. I enjoy the portability of it as well since it is significantly smaller than my old Xbox One; also, not having a bulky power box is really enjoyable.

My last console was an Xbox 360. Looking to get back into gaming and this was a less expensive way back in. Since I'm not a big gamer the less powerful graphics compared to the Series X isn't a big deal for me. The experience is still fun for me, but again I'm not a heavy gamer with a discerning eye for graphics. 4 teraflops is less than 12 teraflops, but I have no idea what that really means =) Buy it if you are a casual gamer looking to play next gen titles.

The Series S is a solid 1440p 120hz console. It's faster than any previous Xbox, features a compact design, and is built to take advantage of Game Pass without a huge price tag. The one drawback of this console is the limited storage space. If you're someone looking to play lots of game on Game Pass, you'll either have to delete and reinstall titles frequently, or upgrade the console's storage. However, the cost of the 1st party Xbox SSD Expansion Card is over $200, which is the exact same price difference between the Series S and the much more powerful Series X. For this reason, unless you want to purchase a slower HDD to expand your storage for less money, you may find it makes more sense to just purchase a Series X instead, assuming you can find one.

Xbox is great and at great value and with cloud gaming its perfect you dont need to buy the extra memory card..i have a series X as well and yes you can see a difference with graphics. But this is still by far better than old gen graphics and speed ..but if you can't afford or can’t find or simply don’t wanna pay that much for a Series X and coming from old gen this is perfect

This is a great little system. I’m currently playing Halo Infinite and it looks great. It is capable at only $300 but I will be also buying an Series-X when I can get my hands on one. I have an over powered pc that I have become accustomed to, so the Series-S doesn’t give me the same impact on my monitors (maybe the series-X will be a better performer). All in all, I have no real complaints. For the money, it’s worth it.

Nice console, wish it had a disk drive but other than that it’s perfect. Controller button also started sticking out of nowhere.

My brother's Xbox One was starting to SCREAM every time he turned it on. While I know he would have preferred the series X, this one was a bargain, and he absolutely loves it. He's now able to run multiple challenge runs in different games at once and with the new Streamlabs features Xbox is adding he can stream well too. If you don't have a UHD screen, then there's no need to look elswhere, this thing is amazing.

Next Gen Xbox without the hassle of discs. Has a smaller more aesthetically pleasing presence

Don't be fooled by the "less powerful" tag that comes along with this console. You're gonna get the next gen experience for a great value. COD Cold War, NBA 2k21 and Dirt 5 run buttery smooth and look beautiful on this console. As far as cons go, the expandable memory card is a must. A MUST! Games are huge now and the base storage will be used up in a short period of time. I know 200 bucks. . . . BUY IT! You won't regret. Welcome to the Next Generation.
