However no disc drive, not even as an accessory available. Thus you have to buy all games as a digital version! Because you have to download all games, the hard drive (500 GB) fills up quickly. You cannot play the latest series S/X games from a connected usb hard drive except if loaded onto xbox expansion card. + small + quiet + stylish - no disc drive -> only digital games possible - hard drive small, only one expansion slot for 1TB today. - no usb-c port - just three USB ports (2 @back, 1 @front). Two additional USB ports would be perfect

I do not regret buying it. With the game pass, the options of downloadable games is almost limitless. I play all sorts of games on my Xbox and they all run very well.

I like how easy it is to set up and how you don’t need a physical copy of the game to play. It has faster download times then my old Xbox one S as well so it helps making gaming faster when wanting to play. If your looking for an affordable counsel that can play pretty much play any Xbox game then this is the console for you. Only down side is it doesn’t have a lot of storage as you can only download six games before the memory is full. Not having a disc drive might also be a turn off to some as you will need to have it digitally to play. I did however purchase the game drive that goes into the back to give it an extra 1tb and it’s worth every penny.

Also, if you don't have the 4k tv, this Xbox series S is it. I bought this for my nephew for his birthday and he definitely enjoys the game console. If you have been gaming for years I would say go with the Xbox series X. But if you're not a gamer, the Xbox series S is cool!

Wouldn’t recommend. Sure, you’re gonna save a little money, but the performance when compared to the series x is pathetic. Considering it’s the “same generation,” it should have the ability to play the same games to the same extent. Do not recommend.

Works great and loads destiny 2 and elder scrolls online much quicker than the old one. Only negative is small hard drive and the charger we had for the Xbox one does not work on the newer version controller. System is great though and with game pass you will always be entertained.

It's mind blowing how well this thing runs games and still puts out good graphics. I also own a Series X and I have no problem playing on the Series S without wishing I was on the X. If I'm not playing something that needs high frame rates I go for the S. It uses as much electricity running a game as the X uses just sitting on the dashboard! I get why they left a disc drive out, but it would be great to have one on the S, just for the sake of being able to buy games second hand. But that's literally my only con.
