For 300, this is a perfect console to jump into the next generation. It's amazing what MS did here by putting out a very capable piece of hardware for a price we haven't seen in the past couple generations. I bought this for my kids and a sub to gamepass. So far no complaints and it's only going to get better as MS puts out more games.

Great console runs smoothly and quickly. Only complaint is it being disc free, I would prefer not to have to use a second device to play disc games or watch movies.

It seems you are no longer able to use the kinect. I have tried 2 adapters so far. This forces you to use a phone to use for games like Just Dance. My sister-in-law has Down's Syndrome which makes this a very difficult thing for her to use. It asks every time you need to play to add a new controller (her phone) with the same pin. Why can't this be persistent?

Great system! My favorite feature is the “quick resume”, when I’m tired from gaming late night I shut down my Xbox with no worries because I get to continue where I left off with quick resume.

Solid value for $300, and I like the design better than the Series X. Really nice size. The Xbox game pass included is also a good value. I'd rather have this than the Series X if you're not concerned about 4K and having disc compatibility. Glad they made a next gen console that's relatively easy to be purchased. Also the controller is comfortable.

The series s is a extremely well-rounded system and very impressive. Coming from someone that has had all xbox’s and also an owner of the series a as well I can tell you this console packs a very heavy punch in a small unit. Would highly recommend for someone not wanting the extreme performance or wants a great next-gen console on a budget.

A fantastic console for those who don't wish to be burdened with keeping track of disks and risking damaging them. With Game Pass Ultimate being the best value around, it's a no brainer. The Series X isn't available anywhere, so if you can find a Series S you HAVE TO buy it. Such a great value. Microsoft hit another home run.

It’s the next generation Xbox; use your galaxy brain to figure out what it does. The practical difference between this (model S) and the model X is 4K resolution. If you 1. don’t have a 4K capable monitor/tv &/or 2. prefer playing games with performance over visuals (ex. competitive titles) then this is fine. Don’t use disks, they’re a dying hardware.

Great console for the value, especially if you grab Game Pass Ultimate. In my opinion, if you're a PC gamer, Game Pass Ultimate + Series S is a great combination without having to shell out the full price for the Series X. In no way do I think this is better than the Series X, but it's also $200 cheaper and a great entry-way into next-gen gaming.

I bought this as upgrade to the xbox one x, and let me tell you it was not a mistake. i see a lot of people saying to stay with the one x, over this, but the load times and optimization make it wayyyy worth it. my advice is to sell the one x, if you have it, and upgrade to this.

I’ve had this for over a year now and I’m still in love with it like the day I got it. For the price it’s incredibly powerful and the graphics look amazing and being able to play games in Dolby vision and Dolby atmos is a massive game winner. If You can get past the digital only aspect of it then it’s an amazing console.

Updates from old XBox 360. So this was for me a more affordable option than the X. I don’t need the discs, the monthly Xbox premium is nice but I could do with the gold I believe. It’s just as the old Xbox just with better graphics and the occasional glitch-I’m pretty much only playing sports games.

My son really loves it! Great christmas present we got the headset with it.

The item is perfect. Worth the wait and hype. My only complaint is the grip on the controller is like polka dots and feels like sandpaper. I'm looking into alternative grips for it. Other than that this thing and accompanying controller are so much fun and so fast. I def. recommend getting extra storage as I have 4 games and almost filled my space.

Got the holiday bundle for $50 less than the original series S. Buy it while it’s still in stock

Great console, especially for the price point. Don't let the smaller storage bother you too much, just add an external hdd, 90% of the games run off the external drive. Only some of the Series X/S exclusives require the internal SSD. For instance, Halo MCC runs off the external drive. Also, amazing platform for emulation, if you're into that.
