I did buy an external hard drive to store games, but probably won't need it. The Series X has 1 TB vs. 512 GB, and is designed for a 4K TV, but this is fine for my 7 year old Sony Bravia.

Already have a PS5 and wanted a base Xbox to be able to play exclusives as well as their game pass catalogs. Incredibly nice, not near close to the ps5 or series x, but a great base next gen console.

It's great because it's much easier to buy than the other consoles, and pairs great with game pass. It has the same SSD as the Series X, so loading times are super quick! Great price for a great product.

Wish it had more memory for games as I tend to buy everything digital. At least you can add more memory for the future. Plays everything smooth. I didn't need 4k and everything still displays fantastic.

My opinion is this is the most budget friendly version of the new console to experience next gen games on the cheap, Get this and subscribed to gamepass. Seriously you don't have to buy a single game ever.

A couple minor freezes, but nothing game-breaking. I would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap but effective next gen console.

Just wish it had more storage capacity or they offered a discounted bundle that included the 1TB external hard drive. They mostly likely have to come up with a larger external at some point. All in all still a solid buy.

If you aren’t looking to push 4K this box does it all. It’s fast and silent. Only issue is the small SSD. With today’s game sizes, you’ll be lucky to fit more then a handful of games on it at a time.

I have a Series X as well the big black tower and the Series S is so small comparatively it’s crazy. I don’t personally need the disc drive so the S hooked up to a 1440p monitor is the best of both worlds.
