I have a series x and bought this for my 7 year old. He plays it anytime we let him till we make him turn it off.

Size is perfect. Digital all the way reduces disc clutter and makes life easier for the gamer who doesn’t want to get up to change discs.

So many games load up almost instantly. I do wish that it came with a 1TB drive instead of the 512GB but I know they had to do that to keep the costs down.

For now, seems to run most new games pretty well, but it might be lagging behind in future releases as games get more intensive.

Just be prepared to buy an extra storage card sometime in the next year or so as the 512 gb goes quickly with big game like call of duty or assassins creed. As long as you don’t mind no disc reader and slightly less graphics and capabilities of the series x this console is great.

It didn’t take long to get used to the controller either. I don’t like changing the batteries tho >:(
