The 512g storage is lacking. This console should have a minimum of 1Tb of memory. Next gen games need more memory, but rhis has less than the older Xbox one consoles.

If I had to pick between the 2 I would pick the Xbox x just because of the extra storage on it but overall not bad for $300

Load times with the ssd are way faster than the older xboxes. Got mine around black friday for $240 and it came with a controller too. If you dont play a lot of disc games and arent using it with a 4k tv this is the one to get.
