If this is for a kid and one that won't need to keep too many games on the system at once, get this one. If you want to future proof yourself for about two years, buy the Series X. This one is great, but has less space on the hard drive, and lower specs for the graphics and more technical aspects of the compared to the Series X. This will undoubtedly be serviceable throughout the consoles lifespan but will not fully utilize the potential of the games that will be made this generation as developers get better at using the technology in the consoles. Still, it's a great console, especially for kids or those who don't like keeping physical games around.

The ability to download and play games is a game changer. The graphics are great and it is a lot of fun to use for someone who has not played video games for a long time.

One to many times to count while playing the game my controller may disconnect from the system and will not reconnect unless I unplug my system for example today I was play a game and mid game my controller disconnects from the system really ruining the experience and just kills the whole vibe only theses things are only happening on new gen to when I try to join my friends game it will take me to a game they are not even playing and is also annoying, the system boots up pretty good tho after you have to unplug just to connect a controller for some reason even if you have a usb C cable to connect the controller it still won't connect.
