Great Travel Companion
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not think about this as an option for traveling, but it worked out very well on a road trip for me. It was very light and connected to the wifi. I was able to play games using my ipad as the screen. Normally, i get concerned about discs getting scratched, lost, or having issues reading the disc while the car is bouncing. This console does not have any of those concerns. It uses low power so it can be plugged into the car with no problems. It is small enough to tuck under a seat and powerful enough to play real next gen games.

My first Xbox
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im not gonna lie. This was my very first Xbox I have purchased in stores. Been a PlayStation user for years. At first setting up the console it felt very foreign to me but after a while and downloading a couple of games. This console is great!

Open box Xbox series S
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The series S is a great console for the price. I bought from Best Buy open box for under $200 and it looks and works as brand new. It’s a small console and looks very nice and subtle. Plays most games In 60fps.

Great Graphics - Low Memory
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance and size of the Series S are the best attributes. The 512g storage is lacking. This console should have a minimum of 1Tb of memory. Next gen games need more memory, but rhis has less than the older Xbox one consoles.

good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an Xbox One X using an HDR10 capable 4K monitor to a Series S, I found that the Series S had the same resolution as my One X. I was able to do 4K, HDR10 gaming as on my One X. The major difference I noticed it that the load times are a lot faster. The only drawback I've noticed with the Series S does not have an optical port for my headset. I had to revert back to my old set that plugged into the controller. Since the Series X is hard to get, at this writing, I am happy with my purchase as I met or exceeded my expectations. "The Series S is so small!"

Sooooooo!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great modern console as it is very compact and also has amazing specs compared to the xbox 1 x and s. The only down side is that official memory cards are 200 dollars and there is only 300 gb of usable storage, and sunce this is a digital only console you’re going to run out of storage very fast. Although there is a temporary solution. External hard drives, even though they work for games not optomized for the x and s, games that are optomized for the x and s have to be downloaded to the oficial storage card or internal hard drive

Great Console - Only Problem is Storage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item worried that it wouldn't run much faster than my Xbox One and be exponentially slower than the Series X, but I was very wrong! The Series S runs quickly, still looks great on my monitor, and is a fraction of the cost! One big downside is the lack of storage space. I can hold maybe 3 games downloaded at a time on my Xbox. This issue, however, is mitigated by buying the SeaGate external hard drive where you can then have 2.5 TB of storage - over twice that of the Series X - and still >$100 less than the stock Series X.

Nice little console
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Snagged this day one as I was not able to get a xbox series x and was still gaming on my 1440p monitor with my pc. I wanted an xbox to play things that I couldn't on pc and games that I prefer to play on console. The packaging was really nice and the console is very small, doesn't take up alot of desk space which was great. I was really impressed with the load times for this console and was able to get 120hz at 1440p with a few games. I ended up getting a 4k tv with hdmi 2.1 and an xbox x so returned this. I would highly recommend this console for this gaming on a 1080p or 1440p screen!

Great console, worth the money.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A next generation console for just 300$ is astonishing, especially taking into account the performance and improved graphics. I was able to fit about 15 games about it. I'm fine with the small storage space, as I usually just play a set of specific games, though I downloaded some more so I could try them out and see how they look on the Series S. I can't wait to see how Overwatch 2 looks on this. The design is sleek and it's incredibly compact, taking up almost no space.

Excelent
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first i thiught it wasnt going to be enough. But my son loves it and he was very impressed about hiw small this console is. Really fast and doesnt take a lot of room wherever you want to put it. I wasnt a fan of the white color since it usually turns to yellow over time but i also found out that I can buy a wrap for it and change that

yea
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.everything came new exactly as expected the series s is definitely faster than my og 500 gb xbox one from the first launch. this only has 500 gb which i didnt mind because i have a 3tb hard drive but unfortunately any games i have on my hard drive tries to download the “upgraded version” onto my xbox and theres no way to stop it from doing it automatically without turning off auto update. super annoying but i needed a new console and games do load quickly and it works great just that one annoying thing. not to mention one of the only places to buy for $300

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to own an Xbox One X and some people will say that it was close enough to the Series X that it wasn’t a worthwhile upgrade since these are expensive and hard to get. Well let me put those claims to rest. While, yes, this console feels very similar to the One X when you fire it up, once you get into a game, it’s a whole new experience. One of my favorite games from last gen is Forza Horizon 4 and even though you could do 4K30fps and 1080p60fps on the One X, being able to do 4K60fps on the Series X makes it feel like a completely different game. The speeds that this console operates at are truly next level. One of my all time favorite games is the original Star Wars Battlefront II. I have that game for the original Xbox and it works on the Series X! But it works exceptionally well. It’s scary fast. I swear, I spent a collective 3 months of my life waiting for that game to load when I was young. The loading screen barely appears before the entire match is already on your screen with the Series X. It’s so fast that the loading screen is almost a flash on the screen. Of course, younger me is furious at how fast it is, knowing how many times I would just get up and grab a drink or a snack while it was loading. But older me has to start planning out the drinks and snacks before even turning on the console because the days of long loading times are gone, and that makes me extremely happy. It may feel like an Xbox One at first glance, but let me tell you, it is nothing like an Xbox One when you start really comparing speed and graphical quality. Pair it with an Elite Series 2 Controller and you’re in for a great time. Worthwhile leisure investment, 100%.

Much better than the Series X for sub-4K gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I downgraded from the Series X because it was overkill for my 1440, 60Hz monitor. Also didn’t have much use for disk drive since I only play on Game Pass. I was very pleased with the size of the Series S. It is relatively so much more portable and a pleasure to haul on a trip or to another room in the house. It is ultra quiet and runs cool. The long-overdue solid state drives virtually eliminate load times. Very pleased with this purchase. If you don’t need the disc drive or 4K, go with this instead.

Xbox series s
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the console came with original packaging and everything. the controller and xbox both looked (smelled) and felt new. i will say that the 512gb is very low considering you really only get around 350gb because the system software takes up a ton of space. but besides that it runs perfect and i have had no problem with it. i would recommend buying open box.
