Cheap for gamers with not much money. Not bad to buy, but the control quality is not that good.

It’s an Xbox and it does what it is supposed to do.

Lots of fun with improved graphics over our old Xbox One. We really wanted a series X but even a year out they’re still being scooped by scalpers and impossible to get. When our Xbox One finally died, we ended up going with the Series S after a month of trying. Need all the fun toys working at home during the pandemic and it doesn’t seem like the X will be available any time soon. That said, this is an impressive little machine and I am glad we got it. It’s a huge upgrade and the graphics still look pretty great on our 4k TV. Best of all, we were able to pay a normal price without encouraging greedy scalpers.

Awesome system....with one MAJOR flaw microsoft doesn't tell you about. I recently upgraded from my xbox one s to the series s and you can see a major difference in system speed, graphics etc. I had an external seagate drive attached to my one s and never had any issues. I assumed doing the same with this system wouldn't be a problem, however as you start to download games SPECIFICALLY designed for series x/s or cloud gaming, you are presented a message that because of the speed of the games, it has to be downloaded to the internal memory. So MAJOR drawback having only 512gb of internal memory. Now right now its not a huge issue because most games are not optimized for series x/s but when the gaming ramps up, space disappears quick. And unfortunately, xbox has said external drives even with usb 3.0 are not quick enough speed wise. So what does that mean? If you want to save more things on your xbox, you will need to purchase the additional seagate xbox ssd card which is 200$ for their lowest one. At that point, should have just purchased a series x.

Thing is still working. I leave it on all the time and haven't had any issues. Make sure you clean it every now and then so dust doesn't coat it.

The overall console is amazing, great performance, looks amazing, the only knock is the storage if you’re gonna buy one i opt to spend the extra money to get the 1tb version or get an internal expansion card.

Solid next gen console for a great price! Know what you’re getting before buying. Great as a secondary console or the gamer who’s not ready to totally dive into all that next gen gaming has to offer.

Going from a ps4 to this next gem console was like might an day. It is sooo fast at starting games and switching from one game to another it runs so smooth

So far so good. I'll start by saying I'm not the Xbox fanboy. I went for both systems but couldn't snag a PS5 but was able to get the series X and S on the first drop. Now for the series S, the console has been running very smoothly and is quiet. I've seen a noticeable difference in download speed which is a nice improvement. As for the temperature, I have noticed a fair amount of heat being put off after running for an hour on the same game as the series x model which isnt the best. It feels a bit like a small infrared heater. I did check the temperature of the series S model after an hour of 2k and it read out around 113 degrees fahrenheit. Overall the series x and the S are built very well.

Great System, if you don’t feel like going all in for a Series X this will do the trick. Don’t have any issues.

Love how we don’t have to keep buying game disc all the time. Graphics are great and so much fun to play. Even great grandma can come play.

Very reliable. For the price of the console you're really getting a lot. Quick resume is a great function, just don't rely on this function for online games, for obvious reasons. It loses one star because the xbox one controller that is included got stick drift within 6 months.

this console is a great next gen console if you are looking for something simple and don’t care/have 4k TV’s! the load times are fast! i am definitely buying again for family members!

Easy to use for first timers, took about 20 minutes to set up, plug in make an account and then you just have to wait for games to download

I'm not a 'gamer', I've had an xbox360 for many years, played very rarely, and I was happy with that. I got this system because I wanted to play certain new games. I found it very easy to use and set up. I don't know enough about systems to compare graphics, but I can say that if you are hesitant and trying to buy your first game system, this is a great choice!

Okay, not as good as the Xbox Series X, but...definitely worth the price. I have had both systems and can tell a SMALL difference with the performance, but overall, this for me was the better choice because of the price being less than the X by about $200!

This is for my son. He loves that he doesn't need disks as he has a disability and it makes it easy for him to use himself. Great purchase.

I recently purchased this PlayStation but was disappointed. I couldn’t seem to find god of war in the PlayStation store and was very sad. Although I couldn’t play that I still could play my favorite game farming simulator
