Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a love hate relationship with this Xbox. It holds many games, doesn't over heat, never has any issues. I absolutely hate that my son plays on it every chance he gets. He would play this for an entire day without breaks if I allowed it. Only problem we have encountered is that after almost 2 years the remote control is having some issues but that was expected

My only way into next GEN gaming.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I am unable to get my hands on a Xbox series X, I saw that this was available so I grabbed it. Sense I currently do not have a 4K TV I think this will do for now even know I can’t get any games from GameFly for this unit since it is a non disc model. Looks good to me on my 2007 50 inch pioneer plasma. Will be upgrading to a 4K TV as soon as my plasma goes out. Until then this is the only way that I was able to step up to next GEN gaming. Hopefully sometime in 2022 I will be able to get a Xbox series X and PlayStation 5. Until then my Xbox series S and PS4 pro will have to do.

Worth the upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Happy with my purchase. I upgraded from 1TB xboneS. The only con I have about it is the 512GB internal drive. I was already prepared for the small amount of memory bc I already own a baraacuda 2TB ssd drive. The series S internal drive can hold about 4-6 games depending on the size of each game. I would keep any games that are optimized for Series S and store all other games on the external ssd drive (definitely must have IMO). I’ve been playing Warzone and coldwar lately and those two games together take up a good chunk of internal memory drive. With that said, I only have 2 maybe 3 other games that can be installed from Game Pass.

Great if you don't have any disk based games
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Held out for a Series X for a year or so, finally bought this since it was actually in stock. As a console it's fine, but the lack of a disk drive is annoying because I'll either have to re purchase backwards compatible games I already own or else just not play them until I find a Series X.

Perfect for Game Pass
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is great for a Game Pass subscriber. I skipped Xbox during the Xbox One era but this console + Game Pass is making it easy for me to play the games I missed out on.

My new little friend
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Next best thing to get if can not find xbox X . Best thing you have game pass. You can play old xbox 360 to new with game pass. New games add weekly.

Nice Addition
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I came from an Xbox 1 original and I can definitely see the snappiness and the better graphics than the Xbox 1. It fits nicely in the current spot of the old Xbox 1. I was leading toward the Series X, but do to it’s high demand and the ridiculous prices from other merchants this was a no brainer. All my games are digital anyway so that along was a plus. The remote have a good texture in my hands in comparison to the old Xbox 1 remote. Say goodby to that brick for power as well the Xbox Series S only had a single cable to supply power. This is a must if you are in my current situation coming from the original Xbox 1.

Good product for the price.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Small size and build quality; Quick Resume is excellent; Game load times are noticeably quicker than the One X (especially games like PUBG); if you’re not using a 4K TV or monitor, the Series S is good enough. Cons: No disk drive and small primary storage - you’ll be forced to buy more but it works well with external drives if you don’t want to opt for the $200 Seagate; Will need Game Pass or an already existing digital library to make up for lack of disk drive. Would buy the Series S before purchasing a One X but wouldn’t necessarily upgrade from One X to Series S. We have both.

Excelent
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first i thiught it wasnt going to be enough. But my son loves it and he was very impressed about hiw small this console is. Really fast and doesnt take a lot of room wherever you want to put it. I wasnt a fan of the white color since it usually turns to yellow over time but i also found out that I can buy a wrap for it and change that

Xbox Series S
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great gaming console and better than expected. It’s powerful, quiet, and compact. The graphics look great and fast loading and quick resume is an awesome feature coming from a One S. Originally, I was holding out for a Series X because I didn’t think this would be powerful enough and be up to standard, but I was wrong and am very happy with this purchase. Game pass also rocks on this. I only wish this console had a larger hard drive. I think 512 gb is small for today’s games so I may get external storage down the line but this isn’t needed right now (having 4 or 5 large games at a time is more than enough).

WORTH IT!!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best system ever. Sometimes I wish I had the Series X but even now more and more games are getting updated to run at 1080p and be optimized for series S. Blazing fast speed, games running at 60fps like Skyrim which Xbox recently Optimized, tiny and sleek and attractive form factor, this device makes me never want to touch my ps5!! Paired with the external SSD, an external hard drive, and the internal 512Gb storage, storage is never an issue for me. I even purchased the ONI Halo sling on bag to travel with this thing as well. Best system ever and extremely well worth the money for next gen gaming!

A Sexy Machine Inside and Out
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.People's Main Concern: Only 512GB storage and only 300GB+ usable storage. My thoughts: Yes, the storage could be smaller than what is desirable these days but that is not the point of this console. Most people recommended this machine for GamePass but don't let them fool you. Add a 2TB (or more) external HDD and a 1TB Seagate Expansion Card (which is a must whether you have the Series X or S) and this machine can be turned into a 1080p beast gaming console. This is my very first non-Nintendo gaming console so I've been doing a lot of catching up to especially the games that can't be found in PC like RDR1 and NBA 2K21 Next Gen.

Great companion to your Series X
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great system, though less powerful than the Series X which can be a problem in the future. Other downside, no disc drive. As a secondary Xbox to a Series X, it’s great.
