This little machine is super quiet and pretty powerful. I purchased two of these for my kids as I am still holding out for the Series X. Let me say that these tiny machines run games way better than my XB1X. I’m jealous of how fast they load games. When I get a chance, I sneak in some play time on them. Outriders runs so smooth on them. Only bad thing is the small hard drive, but I purchased external drives for them and they work great. All enhanced games go on the internal and not enhances stay on the external. For the price… with GamePass… it’s the best deal in gaming.

1440p@120 this lil bad boy looks and performs outstanding you cannot go wrong with this especially if you don’t own an series x yet and want something to enjoy while waiting for an x or if you own a PS5/ Switch and looking to get an Xbox without breaking the bank this is the machine you want keep in mind it’s digital only and memory is small less than 500g so you will need to get external memory which they have plenty out there for affordable price or invest in a ssd to play the nex gen games but that cost just as much as the console itself smh

A next generation console for just 300$ is astonishing, especially taking into account the performance and improved graphics. I was able to fit about 15 games about it. I'm fine with the small storage space, as I usually just play a set of specific games, though I downloaded some more so I could try them out and see how they look on the Series S. I can't wait to see how Overwatch 2 looks on this. The design is sleek and it's incredibly compact, taking up almost no space.

Not going to lie, I got peer pressured into buying this from one of my friends and I wish I would have waited like I planned for a PS5, but my time with this console was amazing honestly it is PERFECT for game pass and it's a really good deal because it's basically a cheap PC and it runs games really well, the only down side really for me was the storage but that can be solved very easily with an external device. If you're getting into the Xbox ecosystem this is definitely not a bad place to start.

I purchased this for my son’s birthday, but my wife had already purchased the same product from Best Buy. I was able to return the Xbox to my local Best Buy and while I was a day or two late to do so, the customer service reps gladly helped me with the return! Great associates, very helpful, and very kind! Best Buy is a great business!

Coming from an Xbox One X using an HDR10 capable 4K monitor to a Series S, I found that the Series S had the same resolution as my One X. I was able to do 4K, HDR10 gaming as on my One X. The major difference I noticed it that the load times are a lot faster. The only drawback I've noticed with the Series S does not have an optical port for my headset. I had to revert back to my old set that plugged into the controller. Since the Series X is hard to get, at this writing, I am happy with my purchase as I met or exceeded my expectations. "The Series S is so small!"

Great gift and cool game. Worth the purchase, the guy's can sometimes play for hours on the weekends.

I bought the system home and set it up in minutes using my cell phone and an App. It is a great gaming system for the family!

This is a great modern console as it is very compact and also has amazing specs compared to the xbox 1 x and s. The only down side is that official memory cards are 200 dollars and there is only 300 gb of usable storage, and sunce this is a digital only console you’re going to run out of storage very fast. Although there is a temporary solution. External hard drives, even though they work for games not optomized for the x and s, games that are optomized for the x and s have to be downloaded to the oficial storage card or internal hard drive

Fantastic system for the money. If you don't really care about 4k, or just want something cheap to use Gamepass, this is the system to do it. It's a lot smaller than you can tell from the picture, so once you open it you will be surprised! Whisper quiet, super fast nvme ssd hard drive, great controller, it's worth the asking price plain and simple. I do suggest looking into the official add on hard drive when it drops in price as you will need more space. But if you just want to store games off to the side, a standard drive will work just fine as well. Happy gaming!

Amazing my son loves it so much! He plays all day

I purchased this item worried that it wouldn't run much faster than my Xbox One and be exponentially slower than the Series X, but I was very wrong! The Series S runs quickly, still looks great on my monitor, and is a fraction of the cost! One big downside is the lack of storage space. I can hold maybe 3 games downloaded at a time on my Xbox. This issue, however, is mitigated by buying the SeaGate external hard drive where you can then have 2.5 TB of storage - over twice that of the Series X - and still >$100 less than the stock Series X.

It was cool best buy had this in stock when no one else could for more than 30 minutes but I returned it as game stop had a fresh stock of the series x under the all access bundle exclusively which meant scalpers couldn't out stock it, I plan on getting one of these later on though as the series xbox's play games smoother than anything else I've played and my pc has rdna1 specs, 4k is absolutely optional, just get a 120 display and get the all access bundle because it discounts gamepass for buying in bulk and the first week you will have over 500$ in games played :)

Excellent console. Might not be as powerful as the big brother X but plenty for a part time gamer like myself. Have it paired with an LG C9 and both deliver.

AWSOME!! Bought this for gaming. Installed easily, comparable with my sound bar. Kids came over and played for 6 hours.

This is the best next generation gaming system for money and let me tell you why. First and foremost this is amazing gameplay in a small form factor. When you’re playing COD Cold War multiplayer m you’re not going to really care so much about the ray tracing as much as the overall smoothness of the game as well as the fun factor. Additional because it’s a small device you can bring it along with you in a Gaems suitcase so you can play it on travel. I may get an Xbox Series X for home and Xbox Series S for when I travel. So when we play and I progressed in the Series S it reflects on the X as well!

The experience with this Xbox has been so awesome especially when I play college football 25. Thank you Best Buy for making my pick up experience so great.

I loved using this card, it helped me alot, i recently moved into my new spot, and i didn't have enough left over to pay for any of this. After applying i was happy i qualified and got me all the items tongrt my apartment feeling like home.
