Customers are saying

Customers commend the Xbox Series S for its affordability, compact size, and impressive performance, especially considering its price point. Many appreciate the ease of use and fast load times, along with the benefits of Xbox Game Pass. However, some users point out limitations in storage capacity and the lack of a disc drive as significant drawbacks. The console's resolution capabilities also receive mixed feedback.

I was apprehensive at first with this purchase but was immediately put at ease. This is great for those of us who skipped the xb1 generation and want the next gen experience while we wait patiently for the series X to finally become available. AAA titles look fantastic with this( but keep in mind it’s still nowhere close to the series x) the modern features like NVME storage are a warm welcome as well. If you’re wanting next gen experiences without the scalper premium then I would suggest this hands down!

It was alright. Definitely not as good as the series X, but for the price, really good starter box. It plays most optimized games well. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Pros Great price tag to move up to next gen gaming Games play smooth and load times are fast Small sleek design makes it easy to put anywhere Controller redesign feels more grippy No overheating issues standing up or laying flat Cooling fans are quiet even under long play times Cons Get an internal SSD since you’ll run out of space Next gen games can only be played on an SSD Last week the controller disconnected and wouldn’t reconnect to the console it was an easy fix of removing the batteries, shutting off the console, unplugging it, and hooking it all back up

This little machine is a powerhouse! Despite the description saying it is not a 4K machine, it will run 4K on streaming apps and simple games like Ori. My girlfriend uses the Series S while I use the Series X. We both load into lobbies at the EXACT same time on games like Hunt: showdown and Call of Duty. The Series S loads and games just as fast as the Series X. I wear glasses and honestly I cant notice the difference between the two consoles when playing any game. Kinda wish I didn't spend so much on the Series X and just got two of these.

Very nice console if you aren’t really too keen on playing on a true 4K TV or monitor & do not play a lot of games...key word, not a lot of games, as this console only has 512 GB of internal storage. I only play NBA 2k and Call of Duty and it is perfect. I play on a 1440P monitor and it is beautiful and crisp. Only thing I do recommend is buying the storage expansion card because you will eventually run out of storage if you play more games than I do. I bought the expansion card just to be safe. Overall, very satisfied with the Xbox Series S next generation console.

For 300 you can not do better than this. No need for more expensive items - this thing works great and smooth for everything. Some remarks: if you have huge 4K oled TV - this is not for you and rather go for Series X. There are some games ported from One S - they look terrible graphic wise when Series X enjoys graphics from One X ported games. But there is no difference between this and more expensive model if you use 2K or 1080P monitor.

For the price of only 300$ you get so much that the xbox one series is lacking, quick resume, fps boost, this console is so quiet no matter what game you are playing. Ive had so much fun playing with my friends all day and never got bored. The controller it comes with is also way better than the xbox one series, These controllers have more grip and the bumpers don’t make noise. I truly recommend you go out and pick your self up an xbox series s.

Great backup to my ps5, I only play halo and sports titles but it does what I need it to as far as streaming movies and shows! Ps5 is miles better than this specific version of the Xbox but I get plenty of use out of it. Would highly recommend as a great budget console if you mainly play sports games. Biggest negative is lack of any first party games that are any good…

Now I haven't owned an Xbox since I sold my 360 in 2014, and I got to say Microsoft did not disappoint with this console. It is a wonderful entry level console to break into next gen gaming. Pair this with game pass and you can even say that you can compete with budget gaming PC builds (I own a gaming PC myself). I love this little console. What I like most is being able to travel with this for gaming on the go. No need to try to lug my heavy gaming PC around.

It was hard to find in stock, but I am happy with my purchase. I bundled with an extra controller and game pass for 3 months to receive a deal. I bought an additional 4T external harddrive to have more room to download games that I play. Was able to plug it in and the xbox register it. No issues with adding that storage. Set up for xbox was easy to understand. I already had an account. It is smaller than I thought it would be which is great for being able to set it up without taking up a ton of room on my Tv stand. No issues with the xbox so far.

A great console for a reasonable price. I have been waiting to get my Series S for a couple months, but it has been sold out everywhere. I finally snagged it here, and received it within two days. The console itself is surprisingly small, but powerful. Runs everything from COD to Forza amazingly. Coming from a Xbox one to the Series S is a game changer for any casual play, who wants to have the option to really exceed in their gameplay. I would recommend it to anyone who is on the Market for a new Xbox.
